the anticipation the author was building for heonjae to kill jingi just for it to be a little comedic(?) is an interesting direction
i mean, i felt like it was pretty necessary to treat their backstory seriously regarding the heavy themes, and to come back with the comedic timing to show how stupid the decision heonjae made and how hes so childish, idk the author usually has this surrealist/crazy style going on and had said it in the past authors note
One of the best stories I've read in a long time. The character dynamics, the realisations, the detail when they first kissed and we saw the painting called The Kiss in the background. I do wish we got to see more of them as adults and how they fully moved past everything. Also wish the final chapters weren't somewhat dedicated to yeonduks feelings towards bomi. We got its cos she has similar hair to skylar but damn all that time wasted.

lowkey it has similar dynamics to the main story so its kind of a recap of certain characters relationship
