A lot of ppl are saying the ending was underwhelming, but honestly that was the most logical conclusion for all the things that happened, the reveal may not have been shocking because we as the audience realised many things before the mc did, it was honestly a reveal for him, not us. This whole story is about the inner conflict of mc between this front he puts up in front of others and his selfish desires, this was the only logical conclusion to that conflict. Idk maybe I'm biased bc I rlly liked the story I rlly wanna hear why yall thought it was underwhelming, cuzz i thought that was the most natural conclusion to this whole thing
"Sun also rises in duat" THAT MEANS RA HAS INFLUENCE OVER IT EVEN THO OSIRIS IS THE GOD OF AFTERLIFE/DUAT
More than Ra, khepri and aten ^^. Khepri is dawn that rises from duat and he's also god of resurrection and new life while aten/ atum is the sun god who rides sun boat across sky n passes thru duat to fight apep and bring about dawn aka khepri. If it doesnt go lore accurate then atleast we will still see ra on her sun boat n maybe horus will be able to join it to ride to duat. There were some mural hints talking about sun's 3 forms so maybe we might get to see aten too!
Honestly the mc is so relatable sometimes at least to me. The way he never had a goal and a path chosen for himself, the way he was just drifting through life letting others decide for him what he's going to do, to the point of marrying someone he never actually loved, letting boguk decide for him that he should go to sujo. His intense inner monologue of overthinking is just so brutal to recognise urself in. Thankfully I have never had to go through anything traumatising like him but I still see so much of myself in him, because of how aimless and unambitious he was about his own life, taking the back seat while someone else is driving. I will deff be rereading this. I have yet to find anything as candid and realistic as this manwha, if u have any recommendations of something similar to this PLS GIVE THEM TO ME

"Fight for love" from hazbin hotel ahh ending
