As much as the four tops are bastards and tormenting our sole bottom... This story is really good. If you can't enjoy it, means it's not your cup of tea, even if you can handle toxicity, non-con relationships and dystopian settings. But for me... I honestly am digging with how much despair this story is giving me (masochistic much).
Like... I can see why they're all insane. Like, who wouldn't be? All of them have went through some really wild shit that there's just no way you can be normal after that. This story was never meant to be a walk through rose garden, and it's doing so well portraying such a hellish version of the espers & guides type stories. The battle scenes made me forget how to breath, the non-con scenes make my heart hurts, the cruelty of the Center and the fear of the unknown instilled by Almuten... they're all just so good like it's just meant to fuck with your mind, just like how everyone in that world was fucked.

This is the most I've ever agreed with a comment in my life. This is not meant to be a story for people to get off on. It's just a week written, gritty look at this messed up world that doesn't hold back the ugly side of sex just to appease out sensibilities. Complete con and living affection is the absolute best someone can hope for. Were trying to work as a global society, toward that being the base norm but in reality, even in our comparatively peaceful world, mid-ground is still all touches, assumptions, and insinuation. Forcing the bottom toward the nastiest depravity out minds can reach. Now I'm not saying anyone should ever settle for anything but this is far from a guide on relationships. Some people can't handle that, and that's ok, but it doesn't make the story bad or wrong, it's just dark and tragic… like the keyword says "psychological"
