contrary to a lot of readers' opinions, i don't mind the ending.
the timeskip itself was subject to a lot of criticism because it didn't showed the development. but the way i see it, it's kind of like saying how fast time flies. before you know it, everything you thought was so important to you in high school changes when you become an adult. your view changes, you meet and fall in love with different people.
people were mad that masumi ended up getting married to a guy, but she never explicitly stated that she was a lesbian. she just said she had a crush on futaba specifically, so maybe she was bi.
i also saw that people thought taichi shouldn't have ended up with touma. personally, i would have liked it either way. if they had just continued to be friends, it would show that it's ok to have a platonic relationship with people of a preferred sex, and that touma was able to move on from his feelings.
also, i wonder if an anime series has been considered for this. the pacing might be difficult.
I completely agree with you. Absolutely love the way taichi explain the timeskip briefly because i think it is the way he is and it's so beautiful. Indeed, after high school time do fly so fast sometimes you couldn't keep up. The way the both of them end up together and if they aren't is also a good thing. It is just, i think either way the relationship between them is so strong. Both of them wants to cherish each other. Friends or more than that. Ahhhhh this story is so beautiful
agree but it would be nice to see the development and how he have settled with his feelings and come to accept them. the characters in this story is good so it would be nice to read more about how the mc would handle another "crisis"
this would have been far better off stopping in season 1 as a short story. however, this is the creator's debut work, and i kind of understand wanting to continue the story and developing the characters more past that short story setting. however, season 2 strays much too afar from the original theme. season 1 was simple, yet tragic, a story person overcoming childhood trauma with the help of those around him. season 2 was like a weekend kdrama with the campus love triangle with obsession and jealousy. season 2 would have been pretty well written if it had not been attached to season 1- rather, if it was derived from a different origin story altogether.

i read up to ch 8 and i'm really confused about the names and characters bc i thought the blond hair guy was named woojin? but did someone call him siwoon? and the main character is siwon? the names are so similar..
nvm ignore that comment i'm just slow at reading comprehension...main character is taemin, guy whose body he swapped into is siwon, blond guy is woojin.. right...,,,??
wait what the blond guy isn't woojin??? he's siwoon??? then who's woojin?? is woojin the brother of siwon?
