annarasumanara, distant sky, and melvina’s therapy!! these are more towards the horror/thriller genre but it’s soooo good!! the last one is a bit wordy but trust me it’s so good

These two BL love stories have mentor/benefactor type of duo. One is historical+japanese the other one is contemporaty+chinese.

Painter of the Night (artist x artisocrat) is the hardcore version of Painter behind the Curtain, (but the japanese historical version)
it has a lot of crude graphic scenes, as the seme is very promiscuous with lots of men, and is a notorious sex addict. That one is a '' Cinderella tale but darker '' it's a psychological/emotionnal thriller, so stay away from that one if you need a light hearted read. The most lighthearted are the two mentor/benefactor that i gave the link for. I loved them all personnally. But Painter of the Night isn't for just anyone. ( it touches adult topics, like trauma, and recovery from SA )

I really liked that in this one there is a gay uncle, who becomes the found family of the MC. I like gay uncles in BL generally, but this relationship felt really good in particular.
