Sooae is way too overhated. It wasn’t her fault she didn’t like Dohwa back then. She saw him as a friend and treated him as such. Just because someone likes you doesn’t mean you’re suddenly responsible for liking them back. She never owed him that.
Nothing can ever excuse leaving the person you love for ten years without even a single message. Eunhyuk knew what he was doing when he walked away. And then he had the nerve to come back acting like nothing happened? Sitting there with another girl, laughing in front of Sooae as if she hadn’t carried ten years of silence and hurt? Hell nah
No explanation or backstory will ever heal ten years of pain. He knew that leaving would break her. He knew.
What makes it worse is that Eunhyuk knew about Sooae’s past with Minhyuk. He knew she already felt unlovable, already doubted her worth. He was the one who proved her wrong, only to prove her right again by abandoning her.
Sooae is not perfect, but she didn’t deserve that. And no amount of backstory will ever justify the pain Eunhyuk left her with for ten long years.
