this is just my hunch, but it feels like the magic crest on Blairs neck has something to do with the useless duke's mana, so he probably was the one who turned back time, or he might have been the source of the magic that turned back time for Blair.

Okay tldr before it; he’d always loved her but was afraid she’ll die when he loses control from his family’s cursed magic.
He found her dead, and was in disbelief. He tried to call for a priest but his aide comforted him, as Blair is already gone. He still tried to carry her to the temple though but when he felt that she was really lifeless, he collapsed.
Then his mana became unstable as it surged from him, it spiraled out of control and attacked everyone near him. Everyone in the duchy died, just like what happened to his father before.
He was out of it as he carried Blair’s body to their baby’s room. His aide shielded the baby from his unstable mana, and then when he saw the baby’s violet eyes (like blair’s) he broke his arm that nearly hurt their baby to stop his violent power.
He was back to his senses for a short while, and he remembered a forbidden magic to turn back time.
He used his own blood to draw the magic circle and chose Blair to be saved.
AND WE DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BABY IN THAT REALITY BTW

He got reborn into the present. All that time, he was waiting for Blair, and he was conscious as a fetus (ofc not conscious conscious, but to some degree). He retained memories of the past. Blair found out about it when it was his birthday. He asked why Herdin didn't come to his birthday. Blair was quite confused until the baby clarified that it was "long long ago". So yep, the three of them are together neow.
