You know it's not that hard to write characters that are decent humans that aren't abusive assholes right? if you want your protagonists to be like that it's not a problem, it's the way that you portray them that is.
Everything seems all pink and flowery in this story and y'all don't realize how toxic they are because the author made them seem romantic and beautiful
