I like to gaslight myself into thinking that this was just his healing journey and all will go back to the original timeline or whatever I just hope this will have a realistic ending because a 17 yrs age gap?? not like age matters or anything but (you get it..) OR MAYBE I'M OVERTHINKING IT AND I SHOULDN'T HAVE POSTED THIS LOL
It's been so long since I've actually been interested in a certain manhwa without the plot being a messed up teen with daddy issues story that's like rushed n shi
Right? The characters all have their own flaws and quirks and the leads are so charming with their dynamic and their chemistry plus there's so much subtext and plotlines and backstory and characterization going on that it just hooks you soooo well.
tbh even if the art isn't this amazing I would still read eitherway because this is actually a very well-written and complex plot !!

Arden is so much better than Albert imo and I'm disappointed that Asha chose him over Arden but actually I wouldn't choose someone with tuberculosis either watdahill I love this so much but I don't think I'll be rereading given that Albert fucks Asha like an animal my goodness! But whatever as long as they're happy
Albert is Arden's reincarnation, what you on bro
And in case u forgot Arden in very much dead
I'm talking about Asha refusing to give Arden immortality and in the end still choosing him as a different person.
Different person..hmm but albert is Arden's reincarnation so i feel like their essence in the same. Albert is a different person because of course him and arden didn't live the same life BUT as we see in the story, albert does have Arden's memories, his mannerisms and build (as said by the servants, there s no way a farmer is that powerful)
So essentially albert is just an extension of what arden would have been if he lived alongside Asha... atleast that's my interpretation (idk if it makes sense ha..)
Think of it as some kinda character development ig(?)
I think it's exactly because Albert is worse than Arden. Asha obviously has the typical vampire complex about what he is and after his mother's actions, he's afraid and somewhat disgusted of his own nature. He wouldn't want to give that to Arden who was all pure and loved him so selflessly that he cursed his entire bloodline to love him just so Asha would not be alone. Asha was likely worried how being a vampire would twist Arden's nature. But Albert is already twisted, he's jealous and possessive and tinted by savagery and violence after what his father did to him growing up. Being a vampire would not change him much because he only has one obsession, Asha, and the kinder parts of his nature are all sublimated under this obsession, so he knows that as long as that obsession is fulfilled, the rest of him won't change. So yeah, Asha could bring himself to turn Albert precisely because he was worse than Arden.
