Well ultimately guwon met the same fate just as the myth goes. That is the consequences of the absurd; revolt, freedom, and passion.
But as camus says "one must imagine sisyphus happy" as your struggles may fill your heart with hope or is what I see with recent chapter. Overall, I believe the whole storyline is just basis of the myth and methaporical in a way(?). Tho thats just my two cents

Tbh I think reading the novel is way better as it gives better explanations and clarity. When I read the recent chapters it definitely felt like there was something missing compared to the novel especially since the translation is not up to par. Although the art is stunning I just think it skipped over some parts to which makes the pacing a bit harder to follow.
