First chapter seemed promising but it went downhill quite fast with all the tropes. I really dislike it when the ML changes lanes so fast, why do they ALWAYS fall in love with the person they seemed to hate soo much just because they changed personality?
Where is the spice in that? The suspicion, the tension the burning hate simmering down and instead a new flame ignites, one of love. No, it has to happen immediately, now the aloof, cold king has turned to a grinning idiot, whose whole world revolves around MC. Ml is super boring and I cant tell you what his personality is. A piece of toast is more interesting.
MC OF COURSE FALLS IN LOVE WITH HIM TOO OH LORD WHY. The only one who I find interesting enough is the actual wife of the ML who I think we are supposed to hate? At least they are portrait as the villain of the story but let's be honest, if your man is bedding the consort every night wouldn't you feel some sort of way too?
I think this is just a matter of perspective since we all view it from MC POV we of.cpurse try to root for him but if it was switched MC would literally be "the other woman". Author is super bad at writing their characters so wifey will probably just stay a generic villain.

I skimmed through the novel before the recent chapters came out and even i can tell its rushed af. If I haven't known beforehand what happend in the novel i would have no clue what happend in that recent chapter, the pacing is so confusing. I also feel like the quality of the art has declined. It feels stiff and boring? Zhenyas face feels annoying for some reason...i cant pinpoint exactly what it is but its making me mad
Saw the most recent raw and the way MC looks in some of the panels...He is really pretty, his more relaxed face and smile is really gorgeous no wonder ML fell so hard for him XD

GODDAMMIT, just let us finally know what happened in Sakuras past!!! What's the point of him letting all his friends know but not the reader?? What is there to hide?? I need more MC's like him!!! He is fun and witty, love seeing him interact with the others no matter who it is, he is punching joke after joke like there is no tomorrow. I was a bit confused by all the investment lingo but besides that it's super good. ML and MC also seem to fit each other, ML teasing him and MC coming up with some snarky remark.ALSO the more steamy chapters are drawn really well and it's paced good imo. Lots of kissing, touching and preparing, PEOPLE HE USES LUBE!! IN THIS ECONOMY!! Idk why it's so rare to see, they seem to always just shove it in like its self lubricating....

Wow just wow, these few chapters were so lackluster. What I don't get is how they even got caged up in the first place, ML is strong af and MC should be pretty smart enough to know that it could be dangerous af there. They basically ran into this trap for no reason. MC gets raped and abused for multiple chapters, was this really necessary? It felt so long and unnecessarily detailed, and ML wasn't able to do anything. Ig the one behind the story loves rape fantasies or else I couldn't explain these last few chapters. GOD AND THE END OF IT ALL MAKES ME SO MAD, the Abusers just get killed of in like a few pages and MC and ML leave, thats it?? THATS IT??!! WHAT WAS THE POINT OF BEING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE???

This could've had potential, but sadly, there's zero progression to speak of. I checked out the raws up to chapter 33, and man, it's looking grim. The MC just keeps getting treated like crap, and it's getting hard to even stomach. I kept reading with a glimmer of hope, but damn, am I disappointed now. Every. Single. Chapter. is just more of him getting raped, over and over.
We do get more flashbacks and a bit of story, sure, but the characters never seem to actually resolve shit. I feel like if the MC had just been more upfront and honest from the get go, maybe all this drama could've been avoided. But nah, the artist seems to get off on torturing their characters.

It feels very rushed, it felt like we were switching from one scene to another without even taking a moment to chill and think about what just happend. Suddenly a month has passed?? Would have wished for the mc to get to know the other side characters better or show us more of the mundane day to day life. But maybe the artist has no choice but make a short comic so idk. But still the story is very interesting and refreshing compared to other comics that were published recently also the art!!! So good and visually pleasing.
