Okay giving my two cents that nobody asked for here since the Danmei subreddit locked the Erha post lol
I’ll preface by saying I like viewfinder and crimson spell tho I can’t lie it’s probably been more than 5 years since I read them or anything by Yamane Ayano.
I am a little skeptical on how this adaptation will go. I know the source material is different, but Yamane Ayano tends to write the same character relationship dynamics ( with some variation and as far as I remember) this concerns me a little because, while I do think she can adapt the first parts of the novel, I am concerned if she’s able to do it faithfully for the later half.
I could be wrong here so if she’s played with similar relationships dynamics before I am just not remembering let me know.
I guess my concern is that she’ll “Asamify” Mo ran for the later half of the novel, which doesn’t really fit (at least up to volume 7, which is how far I have read)
My other concern is how she’ll handle chu wanning. I feel like to some degree Chu wanning has an a more emotionally delicate personality that is proud and in a sense dignified so I’m not sure how successfully she can adapt that. (If there’s one thing about her bottom, they don’t know the meaning of dignity lmaooo)
Maybe im just getting ahead of myself and seeing viewfinder in the Erha art that was posted. Time will tell.
As for the art itself. I think her art is more expressive and strong which Danmei fans are not used to. Danmei art tends to have more delicate soft art styles. I think that might be what ignites a lot of the discourse on the art. I’m not too particularly concerned with that because I know the smut is gonna EAT. I
do like her art a lot in crimson and viewfinder (Hopefully all the characters don’t look the same. I’m being shady I know lol)
I am planning to give it the benefit of the doubt when it comes comes out because I love Erha, so I guess we’ll see then

Really make me like the mom on the previous chapter only to make hate her REAL BAD this one. Wtf is wrong with her???
None wrong with her. She just had a very hard choice to make, And wanted the best for both of her kids, despite his homophobia he is still her child.
We can't really understand that decision ofc.
But I think she did her best, she decided to take advantage of the maturity and good nature of the little brother and made him independent faster and
As she indicated the big brother having independence would have gone bad.
Everything is wrong with her, that choice she decided to make is in no way valid. Kicking out an underage victim of homophobia after he decided to fight back because of all the harassment he received is not how a parent should do. That sent a wrong message. And don't forget that she guilttriped and manipulated him in the process into agreeing with her, eventually forcing him to bear her fault for failing to educate the older brother. This is after she did nothing to protect Woojin from being targeted by the delinquents because of the brother. Sure, she supported Woojin financially and offered words of comfort, but that's about it.
Also, "the big brother having independence would have gone bad"? That's an ADULT, mind you. Of course he would and SHOULD be independent. Society is the best teacher to knock some sense into him, this is called consequences, and he needs to learn that not everything should go his way
That doesn't end there, though. She also told him to attend the wedding of the one who harassed him after he decided to cut off the toxic mf out of his life. That's pretty shitty, to be honest. I just hope the brother won't do something as low as making homophobia remarks and making Woojin feel small in front of the guests at the wedding

The plot is genuenly so stupid lmaooo
