I was gonna come on here to say I was gonna drop this because of the artstyle... BUT WDYM ITS ENDING SOON
Now I HAVE to finish it.
Anyway, the artstyle has gotten so childish. Its not a bad thing, but it doesnt fit the story especially when you compare the old art, how the 1st chapter started, and the horror aspects.
They definitely could've leaned further into the scary components.
Bruh the latest chapter makes zero sense to me

I kinda wished the FL lead confessed that she was the one who poisoned him before leaving.
Like a dramatic goodbye letter where she apologizes and like says shes atoned or something and then dissappears. The ML should know.

Wait im so confused. I thought that to become king/emperor the princes had to marry the saintess and thats part of why they were making FL learn at the temple?? Then ML could marry FL and meets the requirements
So this marrying the foreign princess doesnt add up unless they just dropped that requirement without mentioning it...

Is it me or does this story remind anyone else of what it means to be you. Like blonde hair FL, black hair ML. The ML doesn't pay attention to the FL until it's too late and now has to try and win her back. I feel like the art style is similar as well.
Only difference would be the like fantastical aspect of the other story...

Ik im the reader so I know things she won't, but come on, there's so many hints that should leave her questioning things.
1st. Her aversion to her husband. That's not something u ignore, especially since it keeps happening... Like you should be looking into why that is.
2nd. The call for misfortune, someone said they'd had fortune since the empress came and now all of a sudden there's misfortune... how about we take a step back and see what's changed. Oh look a new mistress.
3rd, the duke said he still loves his lover, but then says he wants to stay with you? I'd be questioning him so much.
