im glad it got canceled - problematic source material aside, they absolutely did so little research into their subject matter because it was literally just a white man with tan skin. nothing to distinguish him as half native american, nothing to show jaxx had done any sort of labor to pay proper homage to the subject they were going to exploit. im glad they took the criticism seriously. NOW if yall would put this same energy and outrage you did into canceling this into other problematic manwha tropes these authors might actually be forced into originality instead of recycling the same tired innocent virgin x slutted out bicycle ft rape that 95% of them rely on (and manwha readers continue to eat up.)

the fact she actually had to apologize because it was so obvious she cant write worth a damn and tanked her own story because she just... didnt know how to write it lol like thats basically what shes saying?? is crazy. bj alex was pretty good but ill pass on any future stories by her unless she partners with a writer and sticks to drawing and storyboarding some ideas. jinx had so much potential in better hands, she literally just had no clue what to do with her own idea.

i was never really excited for his story after omega complex bc reading about a second lead who was so obsessed with one person turning around and reading their story just doesnt vibe with me, but its always, ALWAYS like this. inexperienced naive innocent bottom who's never even wanted to be with a man falls for the older more sexed out experienced top who was desperately pining after someone else. like tops are always allowed to be sexed out and have had feelings for other people and experience in relationships and the feeling of WANTING someone, and bottoms only ever experience that one person, no one else, and its the one person who just feels like, well ive done it all and fucked it all, had MY fun, guess ill settle for one hole now that ive had my fill. i just cant like this story no matter how much i try. Omega complex was different because it didnt follow that. This is just the same generic pick me self insert as 90% of romance manwhas.

ive never in my life prayed for a 3p, its not my thing. but this one single story had better end with the three of them so help me god. after reading chapter 10 it really highkey feels like they enjoy doing this together with him anyway and were bummed at it being over, so fingers CROSSED

i think she was done with this story (and all the constant shit it got) months ago tbh. she rerouted whatever she had originally planned and took the quickest road to the finish so she could be done with it. The first like 65 percent was complex, drawn out, and full of threads that never really wrapped up or wrapped up in a rush. The last like 35 percent was just a race to the finish line. I think where it finally stopped evoking any real emotion was when dan got stabbed and jaekyung had what felt like a badly scripted melodrama moment over his body. Nothing he said sounded like his character anymore, it was just trite and cliche. Same with this street confession scene and the dramatic stream of tears. Idk, i dont hate it, its just pretty clear that points A B and C were all more carefully written and real effort was being put into the story she wanted to tell, but then she sped to D as fast as possible because she just wasnt feeling it anymore.
