i feel like the only person alive who doesnt love this. i finally picked it up bc botwn is so good so far and everyone says this was the og, the standard, etc... but im halfway done and everything feels so shallow. the characters, the fast paced story, motivations, everything. like i dont feel an ounce of chemistry or connection between the two even though this is a heavily character driven story (to the point im sick of the lack of plot and world building and overly focusing too much on their interactions.) i cant really take anything seriously bc its all happened so fast with little to no world building or real plot so nothing feels like the big deal the story tells me it is. idk i dont hate it, but its soo shallow and surface level, its just pretty and boring. im gonna finish it so i can say i did but this was such a letdown after all the hype.

i mean at least it got an ending. im not satisfied with it, especially after years of frustrating plot that moved at a snails pace, and the ending was a letdown after so many years of waiting... but at least its complete and told a cohesive story. Meanwhile skip beat is out here just completely losing its plot over the last decade. Oh well, im not happy with the ending, but im happy to say i was here from the beginning and here to see it off.

im just not vibing with this. it feels rushed and scattered, like a bunch of oddly pieced together scenes strung out too far apart on a loose thread. we just jump from one big dramatic action to another with little to nothing in between, but its all presented as the most climatic set of interactions people could possibly be experiencing and its just... not? like the mc is acting like his whole life is being changed and hes never experienced anything like it before but literally nothing is happening, its just a bunch of oddly pretty people saying and doing the most basic shit. like NOTHING interesting has happened but the story is trying to convince us that every scene is life altering. the ml is intensely dislikable, the shushu thing is actually so off putting & the mc is just a pretty, blank canvas with no personality so hes just not relatable in the slightest. literally NO ONE has DONE anything so far but the story is definitely trying to convince us things are "happening," and the two main characters have less personality than literally anyone else on page so far.
its really giving he used to have something with shushu/turned him into an omega also/etc idk but whatever it is i dont like it bc its giving still stuck on him too much. AND youre humiliating the mc while kissing this other pretty boys ass? snatching back the two stars i gave this story, i really dont think this ml is gonna be for me, ill drop it so fast if theres still something going on with this other man or hes still got feelings.

well it started off interesting but then got weird and incomprehensible pretty quick. i dont read many of these short form manga styles because of this, the plot and dialogue get so confusing and difficult to follow, the pacing always seems off, and the character development is either a 180 or nonexistent. this one was no different. well it was worth a try.
