I liked how the characters were varied, the over-crying was never a bother, and the romantic shit ain't being slapped around needlessly. plus, the ART IS TOP TIER.
Kawada undoubtedly shouldered the pre-ending chapters, salute. though I hated the ending chapter. then again, no ending has ever been a hundred percent satisfactory for me anyway.

Literally my man Kiriyama Kazuo deserves better. If this is realistic, Kiriyama will survive, not those two sh!ts.

I read a lot of survival games but damn sorry maybe bcz I couldn't like any characters but I can't read it more than 15 chap. Looked at the ending it was nice but that's all.Tastes are different but I really have hard time understanding why this is one of the most populer survival manga.

Mc: Quite frankly, most people prefer a main character that can kill, and puts himself before others
Girl: Dont get me wrong, i love girls, Souma especially was amazing. But the cliche of the male lead having to protect some fragile girl, while she never does shit to help, annoys me. Girls aren't all weak both mentally and psychically, and it annoys me that the female leads in such mangas usually are.
Last thing is strategy. I feel like it was more brute strength than brains. Mim was the only one using his brain it felt like, and i wouldve loved it if there was some more intelligence. Also, survival, basic hygiene, food, sleeping, wildlife. We only really focused on humans vs humans, not all the others things that can kill you.

The psychological aspect. The game drove some people insane, which is very realistic

I just finished reading it, and I HAD to come here and recommend it. I gave "Battle Royale" a 7/10, but I gave this story a 9/10. It's too amazing to not read, and if you like it then be sure to vote on the chapters. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to wipe the tears from my face.

Pretty good. I only wish that the translation wasn't like this. It's kinda hard to read since I'm not native English speaker.
Because the battle Royale came first, The Hunger Games is after this story
