Years later, although I do like this little mystery, I found it odd that she was so invested in a kiss. Like the glasses guy had said, it's as if she only wanted to accept a future where Shinoda senpai was the one who kissed her, and had this little play of eagerly searching for this first kiss prince. Putting aside glasses guy's bluntness and droopy boy's agressiveness, even if the sporty guy did trick her, he did seem to earnestly like her. Although I don't particularly care who she ends up with, and I get how important first kisses are, it felt a little like she was playing around under the guise of detective work, almost like Cinderella's prince. Hey, if the shoes fit someone else, the prince might have to marry her, but wouldn't want to, and would rather not. I'd rather she didn't use that excuse, no matter how shy she was. If she's going about this mystery, she should eliminate her biases and find the clues and answers, instead of only reconfirming her wishes, then determine how she should act. While it was indeed Shinoda who kissed her, I couldn't help but feel bad for those who liked her.
I don't know whether it gets better later but at least in the first few chapters there's no depth no character development or even any depth in the characters it was too cliché (little mary-sue) and I'm seriously confused that it seemingly was created by the same author/artist (?) As reimei no arcana....
