rereading this and wow. i mean i liked the fashion before as a kid when I first read this, but reading as an adult and with y2k fashion coming back as a trend, the fashion here just never misses. like the amount of times I wanted to steal both otome AND minami's fashion from in the manga and on the covers is insane. especially otome. god i would kill to have her closet
ngl i read this as a kid and then you grow up and realize how weird it is. total step sibling romance and it never truly gets over how yeah its romanticized incest. yeah they're not related but idc if you like someone and want to fuck someone who is considered your sibling by law and socially. that's still weird as fuck to me lmao bc i could never see my siblings that way and much less my step siblings, so i never liked or understood the trope of fucking your step siblings
