I remember watching this when I was 11.. nga the anime wasnt ass as as the manga. It's like being edgy for endgyiness sake. While it does have some depth, it's just surface lol and isn't really explored deeply. Also they use the same trope to show who the "bad" guys are.. via rape. It's js rlly repetitive
Honestly yhe story is pretty bad, but the concept is really good, I feel like they should definitely remake Elfen Lied, cause I feel like Lucy and some of the other little creatures got done real dirty, like Lucy is supposed to be the main Dion but in reality shes the weakest one, shes a pretty limited character compared to the other ones
I watched the anime around 9 years ago and always wanted to read the manga, now I did and its total brain rot why is it such a mixture of gore, wanna be emotional moments that don’t make sense and unnecessary nudety of underage girls
Was someone playing a joke, having the pages out of order like some bad movie? Everyone in this manga is a freaking dumbass. Nothing any of them did made any sense no matter what their fabricated reason was. I didn't really care for the childhood friend because her priorities weren't in order. Fussing over Kouta remembering a measly summer over his trauma from seeing his family murdered!! But, the way he way he doubted and hated his sister for protecting him was unbelievably ridiculous. But, I read the entire thing and it was definitely gorey and action packed but, that's all. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ #sorry not sorry
