Sekiguchi is definitely the reason why this manga is good ! His presence , his genius, his attitudes ... everything about the character was on point. I just enjoyed reading every pages where he was showing.
Furthermore, I applause the plot of the manga and i’m not wishing for a epidemic like this to occur in future , it’s gotta be the worst thing on this earth we will be suffering from !
reading this in another lockdown really hits different tbh. some comments said onodera is a disappointing character but if you saw it from another perspective, some of his responses is just human imo. still, the way he was too absent-minded and didn't know what to do is kinda annoying because he's supposed to be a full time doctor, doesn't he?
but then before being doctor, he's also a person, he feared if the virus that he might extracted from the deceased patient days ago would infect him. when they got call from the institute, rather than not scared, his relieved reaction is due to the fact that the virus wasn't infectious. still, sekiguchi looks lot more professional at handling things since begin with, because he was armed himself and managed to being calm most of the time
anyway, i couldn't get used to the eyes. it's really disturbing and my eyes feel kinda itchy seeing them being drawn with blood like that. but it's cool at the same time because the first thing that makes me go read this is the manga cover;;;;;;;;;;;
imagining this would happen irl is terrifying though. it's said that it's even worse than ebola. also it suddenly makes me feel guilty about those lab mice. just imagine how much of them has been sacrificed for the sake of human being?
Im still in chap 2 but from what ive seen so far this onotera guy is so frustrating. I think he's new so he's a resident but even so, he is already a full fledged doctor and he is written like he doesn't know the basic precautions and incapable of thinking logically
Fuck the government and their selfish asses even with covid19 (it's fucking mortality is %2.4) they can not think about people. Sick people in quarantine can not recieve drugs, foods anything and they got the asses to get up and say "oh plz think about our economy." oh I hate them. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
And let's not forget about smart asses who thinks virus is not real. Sometimes I can not believe how we evolved as "smartest" in all animals.
I found this to be scientifically accurate if you were so lucky to be able to easily isolate which antibody was the correct marker For an infected cell on the first few tries. So I support the accuracy but not the plot. That was kinda Trashily disorganized
