It’s just something some artists do.. if my assumptions are correct, maybe the artist drew Rua’s facial expressions so well and didn’t want it to be hidden behind Aren’s arm :D
It was about some small troop of soldiers being sent to some island or factory to find another missing troop, only to find out that this is like, how they disposed of dissenters in the military or something, and something super natural keeps making the troops go missing. Think:I stole the MLs first night, i failed to divorce my husband, The villain’s savior . Like I want the chase arc, not like, the ml didn’t realize he loved her, not he remembered he loved her in a past life too after being strangers/enemies to lovers in this one.

In chapter 118 she mentions she already 12, The story starts her at 8, she has her 10th birthday, and now shes 12? Maybe the author has just been using her saying her age randomly to show the time progressing without having to say directly there was a time skip?
