Heisuke is a strong boy because if i were him I'd beat that first year up the third time he comes around. Please just mind your own business and get a life
heisuke is so f-ing annoying, sorry but i'm dropping this. his character is horrible and by the looks of it there doesn't seem to be any development. aki is the only good thing about the story, but heisuke is like a damp towel on what would be otherwise an enjoyable read
Whenever i feel down, I always go to this manga for aki to heal me. It's really sad that it has come to and end. Thank you for all the hard work!! ( ╹▽╹ )
ah I really don't know how to say this in a way that makes sense but I feel like this manga gives off this super lighthearted but also low-key deep vibes at the same time? I really love that.
I loved this story. A serious kid, a selfish high schooler. Both of them had their own struggles and learnings. I like how there was no “good” or “bad” character and everyone was very realistically somewhere in between. It was a really good story and I cried when he had to leave at the end. I wish I could see them in the future as well!
That first year really popped a vein at the back of my neck with how imposing he was with his ideals but not even having a friend. I get that he is envious and felt like it was unfair for "someone like" Heisuke to have many friends, but he doesn't even wonder why he himself don't have friends. Some sense of reflection that the problem is himself and not someone who actually has friends. I'm so used with a quicker resolution where they knock some sense into him so his moment of regret is so achingly slow and he just ended up wallowing after. Like, won't he even try making friends himself?
