i totally understand wat u mean...i read the summary as well and they mention a "sheikh" and i was like yeh fuck no, i know im going to hell but fuck im not crossing that line. there's a difference in mentioning Jesus, buddha ...i've seen them mentioned quite a lot when they say "jesus christ" or "amitahbha buddha" i guess we're used to the western religion being umm messed(?) with/ mentioned.

There was no character development at all and the relationships were too superficial. All in all it was just sex without plot

I actually would disagree with that generalisation. Similar to other genres, yaoi too, has many stories with complex plot. But I do agree if you meant that there are also lots of stories just for the sex scenes. However, as said before, a strong or weak plot is found in all types of genres. This story here would be just one of the weaker-plot-examples for yaoi between many good-plot-stories
