You guys won't believe but it's my 26th tym reading it, it Hits soo hard sometimes I cry, laugh, feels sad and think they both are stupid soo Kudos to the author for creating a gem and thank you sooooo much ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Can someone recommend me gem stone stories like this
I read this years ago & it still holds up! They're both flawed & their relationship isn't all flowers, but that's what makes it feel raw and genuine <3
I find it interesting that there are a number of comments about Akira being annoying, when for me it's always been Kento who's the less-likeable, frustrating one and Akira's pretty relatable. Interesting that people can have such different reactions.
The main thing I like about these two, though, is that they're balanced and not not without nuance.
They are like a buddies more than lover i actually don't hate uke but i remember i never liked him in this manga cuz he was sayin bad stuff about seme's grandpa which somewhat made me angry myself only if they shawed us how seme punched him but either way it was fun read uke finally accepted seme's proposal and he adopted him into his family.. nice read But here is thing this mangaka had thing for making annoying and unlikable ukes i remember one manga "Mimitabu No Riyuu" in that uke was supper annoying as well for phasing it was fun story.
Nahh i changed my mind uke is cute and beautiful and good in his own way what he had suffer was itself so bad anyways, they got married at the end at least "earthquake" lol
This is one of my favorites. I keep on coming back for a re-read throughout the years and the two of them are just so endearing. Kunieda Saika is really good.
It's funny that this time as someone older it made me reflect on my own relationships and how far I've come with people I love. I could relate to a lot of their issues and flaws. The characters are quite multi-dimensional and real compared to most yaoi and BL, you don't find that often.
My only complaint has always been the heteronormative lens through which Kento views the relationship (like calling Akira his bride and in general projecting hetero dynamics), but that's also his own peculiarity and flaw and is part of his character so I can't really say it's a problem for the manga as much as something that bugs me off specifically.
I just love these two so much <3 Very well written!

Akira is so frustrating to deal with.
