I donāt know baseball terminology so forgive me, but itās like, even when/if Gensei does get hit, Takaya knows/trusts that the fielders have it covered. Part of Genseiās āme for meā could definitely come from a lack of trust in his team too
Yeah, he seems to have a past revolving around not being trusted(if I remember right) so now he has equal amount of trust for others(which is none). not to mention he naturally has temper problem(again, if I remember right) so that might be why the trust issues goes both ways.
