The thing that he remembered was his ex Akira, and that they were sgtill together. He had forgotten that he was currently in a relationship with Yoshino.

I love the forbidden love between student and teacher. At first the teacher does all he can to hide his love. Secondly, the student (girl)'s best friend (boy) who has been hidding his love for the girl, finally declares his love for her in front of the teacher (real boyfriend). waaaah ! The entire manga is super romantic and very nice to read.
It's shitty,like it's tabu,it doesn't make sense cause it's like casual"ooh he had an ex gf who was also a student"....I mean if your in college or something dating your teacher isn't weird but when you don't know shit about life and the world and you date this "super cool n awesome" teacher...then you fucked up,am I the only one that thinks that we all go to school, mostly,to get education and of course you can goof around with your friends but come on with teachers too?!....I think it's just that I'm getting older and I can see the shitty world and I'm unable to just casually read it thinking it's just another shitty manga...it's time for me to shut up ╮(￣▽￣)╭
