After reading it again a decade later, I finally understood that Itsuki is Haine’s real father. Now I feel bad that he’s always put aside in the story. I would’ve love to know his POV. How he moved on from his feelings for Maika, how did he felt when h who shouldn’t be able to have children had one miraculously. How much he loved Haine etc I would’ve loved to see more of Haine and Itsuki’s interactions. I feel like it’s the only thing missing in the story…
It’s pretty good but sometimes it does get confusing and I’d have to recap everything that happened lol I also love the lgbtq rep that you usually don’t see in older shojo manga
IMO Tanemura's biggest weakness in story telling is having all the male characters fall in love with the heroine, but now she doesn't even limit herself to just that - in this story she takes it to another level and even the girls and gays fall in love with the MC. I love how all her characters always have deep backstories and motivations, but because of the harem issue I always relate to the side characters more. Otherwise the story is ok, the art is super beautiful as always!

There's just about EVERYTHING, any plot, any twist, any intrigue, betrayal or "surprise" one could imagine in this story. Which makes it akin to the mother of all wimmelpictures. You turn a page and *GASP* dramatic turn! Nevertheless: I can't write a better story and I may be as sarcastic as I want to, it's 3:30 am (I should be asleep since 4 h), I couldn't stop reading ^^

Well one thing I did appreciate was for such an old manga having lgbt+ characters and relationships.
