Why was it up to the seme to make a move? If person A knows their love is reciprocal but person B doesn’t, wouldn’t it make more sense for person A to say something rather than using emotional manipulation to force a confession? That trope always leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

I've read a lot more spineless and annoying ukes than Towa. At least Towa's rebellious streak made him attractive and not just other characters who are too pliant it's scary...thinking, if they can be loyal to their partners.
