Am i the only one who paid attention to the Granny's story about the past? specifically the part where she says "somewhere in the past, we lost contact with our master". She was telling the story of Shui and Olg to those children. The Master here refers to their first master i.e Olg. Now remember, she never said that the master died instead she said 'they lost contact'.
Which means my interpretation of Wild Winds was right. Olg is still alive and living somewhere with Shui. Now don't you dare tell me i am wrong....i know its true! It is...i am not gonna listen to anyone who says otherwise. Olg is still immortal and living happily together with Shui.
My brain short circuited when i read granny's story too coz in the prequel, Olg said that he didnt feel the nature like in the past. That he felt like human.
I think i read this wild fangs/rose/wind manga 6 years ago and now i read it again in 2018. I still love the story and it is heart warming to read. I read the comments there are other wild series (wild lovers/ flowers) . Hopefully someone will pick up and translate ..
Oh, i just found out today, that there is another manga called ´´Wild Lovers´´. @Nao: You mean that this one is not a single manga, like the other wild series??
I think it's actually just the nature of what they are. I mean, kiri even said that because of their nature he would have to kill his own brother at that one part when he was changed by the drugs. So because of the beast part of them, perhaps they are not overly comforting because they have situations where they'd have to put down their own kind if they go crazed. Just my thoughts on it....but they seem to really hint at it being the man beasts nature so chop it up to instincts ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Just because it seemed to have more character development and friggin Mao - I get that he loves Sy and all but he seemed so indifferent about his brother... idk maybe I just don't like Mao...
I prefer this book over Wild Flower. Perhaps because of the melodramatic tone which kinda my thing, I guess? Hahaha. Besides, Syon and Mao's story seems to have more sense compared to Kiri's and Mikhail. The other, I think, was rushed to finish.
I know right?! Actually, Kiri himself I felt was portrayed so differently. I imagine chalking it up to the passage of time, but...Idk, sometimes the difference is too big...

Wild lovers is "reprint of the 'Wild Series': Wild Fangs, Wild Rose and Wild Wind." So it's the same series, just reprint! :)
