BOTH CHARACTERS ARE SO MY FAV TYPES!! so they're both new teachers and seme falls in love with uke so fast, he's bi. after a drinking party he kisses uke and uke is grossed out lol. the school sends them on a trip together and there their relationship gets better and they kind of touch each other, but uke is still sort of unwilling so seme promises not to do anything he doesn't like anymore. afterwards uke sees a student hitting on seme and gets upset about it but refuses to admit he's jealous. more drinking, and uke confesses he wants to be touched by seme and they fuck at seme's house. next morning uke kind of implies it was just the alcohol and seme gets a little sad but accepts but uke is just bad with words and instead wanted to say he actually liked it and just needed alcohol for courage. then they're living together cuz uke's house burns down lol and they have tons more hot sex. one last little fight about keeping work and their relationship separate before everything is perf again!! this art is so fucking beautiful. just a travesty that the scans are so low quality.

one of my favs, second time reading! it's an established relationship off the bat, but we see flashbacks of their past together. teacher and host, who used to be his delinquent student. they have an age gap of like 25 years or more, i don't even want to think about it lol. basically as a teacher, the seme teacher promised his student that he could come stay at his house whenever, since he was having problems at home. student takes up this offer several years after graduation when he's already a host. we kinda see their relationship through their interactions and through how they deal with a troubled student who currently is in the teacher's class. there are parallels between this student and the uke. uke takes care of the seme with house chores and is thinking about doing nursing to take care of the seme when he's very old. so sweet. seme proposes to uke by saying he'll add him to the family registry as his son, and uke accepts. SO SWEET!!! and there's some seme being unsure of himself cuz he's so old and doesn't do much for uke, but uke says a lot of truths like how sweet the seme is to him to just accept him into his home and stuff. shows some balance in their relationship supporting each other and overall it's just a fantastic read!

loved this one so much, such a sweet heartwarming story! uke picks up a foreigner outside his apartment and takes him in. turns out the guy is here on a working holiday visa but got scammed by his roommate. he's in japan cuz his grandpa loved japan and he wanted to meet the guy his grandpa used to have a relationship with. but also he gives the uke a handjob for being his saviour and he catches uke jerking off lol. so they meet the grandpas friend and it was fine and the seme confesses to uke on advice of the friend. uke doesn't know what to think cuz he hasn't fully accepted himself as gay. but then seme says he needs to go back to his country and uke gets kinda desperate and wants to fuck one more time. but uke is also scared and seme has a big dick so seme gets limp upon seeing uke's scared face. FIRST TIME I'VE EVER SEEN THAT IN A BL?!?! SO GOOD LOL. anyway seme goes back to his country and uke is all sad until a few months later seme is there again collapsed outside uke's apartment building. they reunite and it's beautiful and after that uke wants to introduce seme to his family. very sweet but realistic cuz some problems with the grandma. seme then proposes and makes rings for the both of them!! and grandma comes around once she seems seme is genuine and kind. then we see uke practising with a dildo so he can fit seme's whole huge dick inside lol. and another extra about them going to the seme's country and meeting his family. overall just s good story and had some coming out and internal gay discovery moments done in a sweet way.

this is not really a shounen-ai but since they barely have sex, it'll tag it here to signify the focus on story. AND WHAT A FUCKING MASTERPIECE OF A STORY IT IS. I CAN'T BELIEVE I DON'T HAVE MORE TAGS TO SHOW JUST HOW GOOD THIS WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only gripe is some times too implied for a dumbass like me. But this translator is so good. I saw so many connections in how she used language. Sad that she quit :/ anyway, basically this couple has been together 15 years and suddenly uke says he wants to break up. seme is super confused but they still basically continue the relationship as before. just now uke is denying sex all the time. uke kinda said seme needed to figure out for himself which promise he broke that's making uke want to break up, but i feel like even by the end it's not said what exactly was the broken promise??? but as seme tries to figure it out, he remembers other promises and we see how they got together in high school and what other promises they made and kept or didn't keep. and as uke says he's falling in love all over again, seme can't get hard cuz of guilt about something he's keeping secret. anyway turns out uke knew all along so it's fine. and in the end i guess the broken promise was to be together forever?? never saw them making this promise. but uke wanted to "marry" the seme by joining his family registry. first seme didn't get uke's intentions and said he didn't want uke to lose the connection with his adoptive father. but uke is like you dumbass this is all i want and you're not giving it to me? anyway in the end this whole thing was only resolved cuz they needed to be legally family to do a joint loan on a house. seme didn't realize the broken promise until after uke said all that. so they buy a house together and live happily ever after i guess.

SO GOOD SO CUTE!! guy with psychic dreams keeps visiting this cafe worker cuz he saw him getting in an accident and wants to prevent it. cafe worker seme gets the wrong idea and thinks uke is interested in him, and seme is interested back. they slowly get closer through interactions at the cafe. then the accident actually happens, uke couldn't prevent it, and uke feels so bad cuz seme got hurt trying to buy medicine for him. they talk at the hospital and confess!! a great confession scene, very refreshing. beautiful art throughout. and then they go out and there's some drama with another guy trying to just troll and get between them but uke's psychic dreams save that guy's grandma and all is cool cuz seme is also real scary when mad and makes that guy promise not to do anything else. also the seme's 2 friends get together as well. all the ways the couples get together are so unique! lately very tired of alcohol leading to confessions and though the side couple did have alcohol to facilitate the confession, the progression to feelings and relationship is very well presented. they do a dating trial for 1 month cuz seme has liked uke ~10 years and uke not sure. but uke suggests extending another month at the end of their first month haha and looks like all will be well with them too!
