SO CUTE!!!! experienced hot uke thinks he can get anyone, but while modelling for photographer seme, realizes seme has 0 interest in him. uke rises to the challenge of making photographer sleep with him and makes a bet with his friends. eventually he starts doing practice dating with photographer cuz seme says he's never had an interest in relationships and uke pretends he also doesn't have experience. along the way seme starts having real feelings and uke as well. seme says to end it and uke upset. turns out it was just cuz seme felt bad having real feelings for uke while they were supposed to just pretend. uke is like let's date for real and seme agrees. so now they're blissfully dating but seme doesn't take the next step. uke keeps trying lol. one night seme meets uke's friends and they reveal that uke made a bet about dating seme and also uke has lots of experience. seme upset and walks out. all of this was cuz of one guy uke dated in the past and still in love with uke. he's in the friend group and kept wanting seme and uke to break up. but he was ashamed of publicly being with uke, so uke broke up with him. anyway, uke tries to run after seme but falls down the stairs and ends up in hospital. next afternoon he wakes up and searches all over for seme while seme keeps trying to call him as well. finally they meet up outside of uke's house cuz that bad friend had uke's phone and called seme over and stuff. anyway, uke talks it out with ex and they stop being friends. uke and seme meet up inside uke's house. both thought the other wanted to break up but ofc not lol. then seme puts uke to bed and leaves. a while later seme takes uke to a friend's wedding and openly introduces uke as his bf. uke so touched. that night they go home and have sex for the first time lol. seme was not without sexual desires, but just didnt want to burden uke cuz seme thought uke was a virgin without experience. now he knows otherwise and is more forward about it. SO CUTE. SO GOOD EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. AMAZING ART. AMAZING CHARACTERS. WELL PACED STORY!!!!!!!!!! actually funny how uke is so confident and narcissist and seme is a bit clueless but still very smart and confident at dealing with problems. honestly how they passed every problem was so refreshing. no dumb shit like usual in stories, just to make shit more dramatic.

the complexity and depth and seriousness in this manhua is literally like nothing i've ever seen before, and for that i have to say it's BEST, though the story was seriously disturbing to me at times due to rape, suicide attempts, and tons of self-harm and depression. there's no way this retelling does it any justice, but it's a masterpiece in its own way. i would say it veers on the side of babying mentally ill characters, always portraying them as in the right and deserving of help. but i think that's the message of this manhua. to bring attention to depression and mental illness and telling us that we need to treasure those people as well. even when people sink to their darkest moments, they can be saved. good art too, a definite plus! so basically seme hates uke cuz he thinks uke's sister and his dad were having an affair and that's why they both died in a car accident together. honestly it's never revealed clearly why they were together that day, but it seems it was not because they were romantically together. i suspect the author changed plots midway. the focus seems to initially be a hate to love relationship, but somewhere in the middle the author went into full mental illness stuff... so seme and uke have to start living in a dorm with 2 other people. seme super hostile to uke, but uke kinda dead and just taking it cuz he's so depressed and has no feelings, all drugged up too. first big event is a school trip and they are rooming together. seme gets super angry and attempts to rape uke. seme pulls back but uke is like i'm used to it and implies that he sells his body to this doctor guy. uke then says it's ok if seme wants to do it cuz he doesn't care either way? at this point seme already has some unhealthy obsession with uke that's turning from hate to desire, so he does fuck uke. then he takes off uke's wet clothes and sees uke's self harm scars all up and down both arms. uke is so upset and this is where the story turns to mental health. for some reason after this happens uke is like completely broken and he can't go to school anymore. the issue i have with this story is that so much focus is given to the mental health awareness that big plot points in the story aren't given enough attention. like things just suddenly happen and you only realize later like what that's it? it was a major plot point but they aren't going to talk about it anymore? and major events are kinda just glossed over.... after uke stops coming to school seme goes to find uke. finds out uke is somehow connected to his past as the boy who called him one time or many times as a child. confusing here and it should have been a big deal that the author just glossed. author also shows them both realizing this fact, but they never get together and actually discuss them finding out their past connection. seems weird we would not see them discuss it, but we do see them acknowledge it later so i guess they spoke about it more off screen?! just didn't feel like enough was communicated about their past reveal. anyway, while this was unravelling, seme found uke at his childhood rundown house and brought him to a new apartment that seme started renting cuz he's the son of a rich family. he brought uke there and promised to heal uke from his trauma and stuff. but honestly kind of weird cuz uke seemed relatively okay, just dead inside before. the rape thing might have set him off even more but idk. another confusing point cuz uke was not so bad but i guess he was hiding it. there's some serious drama about uke's old doctor being an ex-bf of uke's dead sister. and the doctor being obsessed with the dead sis and kidnapping uke to dress him up as her and pretending to live domestic life with him as her replacement. then seme comes to the rescue and the doctor tries to jump off the balcony but seme saves him. thank god never see him again. then we see uke opening up to seme some more after that and seme going to talk to doctors to get help for uke. once uke feels a bit better he goes to the hospital himself and starts a new round of medications. after this the next big drama is seme's family. cuz seme's mom is already kinda mental from way back due to various factors in an unhappy marriage and then the dad died and she just was upset everywhere idk. i guess it's hard to pinpoint the exact causes of mental illness. so seme brings uke to family spring break gathering and family doesn't know uke's identity so it's okay. but some time later the mom randomly shows up at their apartment. seme is out but uke sits with the mom in silence and waiting. uke knows some shit about to go down and mom saw the hickeys on uke's neck. seme comes back and uke's mom goes crazy seeing them act domestic and stabs for uke but hits seme. seme goes into hospital unconscious for like a week. during this time uke decides to just up and leave?!?!? like ofc we've seen a lot of good mental development from him during this time, but such a weird real life choice. to leave your partner after he is stabbed. but i think the author wanted to show the uke be independent and not always just relying on seme so ok makes sense in the story... so this apparently all happened during their first year of uni, though uke was a bit older and held back cuz of his sister's death and stuff for 1 year or so. seme's mother was forgiven by seme eventually cuz apparently we're supposed to forgive all mental illness shit... and now jump forward 3 years to uni graduation of seme. uke had dropped out. seme has decided to move out and stop relying on his parents for money and stuff. and with that he shows he is free to love uke and be with him cuz he is fully independent now. they had originally promised to keep the relationship a secret until after graduation anyway. in a way this was kinda fulfilling the original plan of fully being together only after graduation. so seme graduating and uke comes to see him with flowers to congratulate him. seme hugs him right away and they go back to uke's house. uke actually bought the apartment they stayed at together before. so happily ever after from now on i suppose. there was a side doctor couple that's also not well explained. probably a lot got cut if this was adapted, and it would be worth checking for an original though idk if i can stomach it. at least not right now. ok so there are some very cute extras in chinese that were not translated. read them and it was worth! very cute normal couply stuff. so sad for all the shit this couple has gone through, i hope they can be together in peace forever.

PERFECT EVERYTHING!!! amazing art, characters, plot, fucking no holes in this story. girl is from family of strong swordsmen and was trained by her father since young. father dies when she is 18 and she has to fend for herself, so she disguises as a man and joins the city guards. some years pass and one day in the forest she sees the prince killing a woman. they battle a little cuz she doesn't know it's a prince and she wants to catch a murderer. but then later she finds out it's the prince so she doesn't want to get tangled in it cuz she is just living a lazy ilfe. doesn't want anything troublesome, so only works for city and not imperial knights. anyway, but after this prince gets interested in her, thinking she's a man. but proposes to her to act like his wife for 5 years. she accepts thinking of early retirement and sweets as compensation. very interesting that she's a woman that others think is a man disguised as a woman lmao that actually solves a lot of issues but still has that misunderstanding feeling! so right now they're engaged and this is all cuz the empire has a tradition where only married men can succeed the throne. they must wait 6 months after engagement for coronation cuz she has to purify at the temple for that long. in the meantime the new empress is trying to kill them off and have her son on the throne. they suspect she and some of her children have been replaced by witches. and looks like their suspicions are correct cuz out of the 4 step-siblings of prince, 2 are evil like the empress and 1 is crazy who didn't turn and 1 is so scared of turning and losing herself. lots of politics also happening like them balancing power between noble houses who support them vs the empresses and stuff like this. prince obviously has feelings for her and already want her as life partner past their 5 year deal but she doesn't take him seriously cuz she knows he thinks she's a man. so she thinks prince is gay lol or just bromantic. but since prince just ignores it when she says this instead of reacting one way or another, it's possible prince knows she's a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman lmao. cuz there was an incident where she fell asleep and he helped her to bed. she is also showing signs of liking the prince, but not understanding her own feelings. wonderful pacing, i hope we see them develop more feelings this season! she is attending the evil witch queen's gathering cuz obligations. there is a performance about a female dressing up as a male and fl thinks queen knows everything. also she sees the sane youngest princess and tries to talk to her. princess tries to run away and just warns her to leave the city and freaks out over the word bloom. she reports this to the prince ml. they are willing to protect her from empress if she can trust them. at the next lady's teaparty thing, empress's daughter comes to speak privately with fl and wants to make a deal with her. she says she doesn't care if fl becomes empress, cuz she's got her own goals different from her mom. then she warns fl shouldn't have worn moonstone without lenadium, that stone that counteracts evil, and a giant monster appears from the ground. she fights it off and then the knight guy she used to work with finds out her identity, but not really lol. like he thinks she is a guy dressing as a girl, not that she is actually a girl.

SO GOOD!!!!!!! Lovely art and characters and story. another 10/10 all rounder. i really like when the male and female leads are on the same side instead of calculating against each other before falling in love. so she is reincarnated into a novel she read, but she didn't read the last page lol. original life, she is an olympic gold medal archer before she got injured. in the novel after she became the priestess she finds out her fiance was using her all along and she gets killed. so now she decides to escape from the temple and call off the engagement. on her way back home she travels with the crown prince but doesn't realize it's him. they are so cute and funny together!! they saved some children along the way and she uses her archery skills to shoot down a messenger bird and impresses the prince with her skills. she saw him naked and vomited from shock lmao. anyway, they part ways when they get near her home. he goes off on some mission against the evil duke that she was gonna marry. she doesn't know he knows all about her and everything. they are basically on the same side against the duke. cuz prince already suspects duke of trying to uprise against the imperial family or take over. anyway, so at home her stepmother and stepbrother are rude as fuck to her and want her gone asap so they can give the viscount title to the stepbrother. they are drugging her poor dad and sister to manipulate them. she's determined to stop the ceremony to change title to her stepbro. at the home there's a guy who used to be her childhood friend who's always been waiting for her to return and on her side helping her. also on her journey she got some kind of huge egg lol and is now incubating it. also her sister is sick and weak and might be eating bad medicine from the step mom. the dad is definitely eating bad meds from the stepmom. she seems to have left the egg behind and is going to find her aunt who was her mom's sister. this aunt hates her dad a lot cuz not long after her sis died, the dad remarried another wife. it was to take care of the kids but the aunt saw it as a betrayal ofc. fl going to see this aunt to get her help and it makes sense cuz the aunt said she will kill them if she sees them again lol she hates the stepmom and the dad so much. ml getting reports of fl's family and got a sample of the dad's medicine. he is heading same place as fl. fl on the way and her stuff is being picked apart by giant goblins who killed her horse. but suddenly she sees a unicorn tied up next to her dead horse and she rescues it and flies away on the unicorn. ml as reached the aunt's house. fl still on her way.

omg sooo good and amusing! basically country is at war with some other country. very complicated military shits going on but that's not super important. and 8th princess, while escaping the castle, somehow turned into a bird. right now she's assisting one of the 3 military commanders as a carrier falcon and just accompany him cuz he doesn't really have anyone to talk to. she's already delivered messages and told him about the enemy's position. now they are just getting closer and girl is wanting to be almost like a pet so she doesn't get sold off when war is over lol. anyway, so basically war is happening even though nobody knows where any of the royal family are or if they are alive. still have 6 possible alive members among the princes and princesses. originally the 1st and 2nd princesses were most likely to succeed the throne so the army is both trying to find the royals and push back the enemy's army. they are making good headway taking back land from the enemy. and her decision in chap 11 to move grain to west instead of equally both sides is now benefiting them. lots of military talk, kinda confusing, but basically enemy sent word that they have the 8th princes, her, alive. and enemy trying to make them do something and they'll give the princess back or at least not kill her. everyone here wondering to believe it or not. even 8th princess herself not sure if it's her body there or not lol. anyway, they go through with the rescue mission and get fl's body back with help from bird fl. now fl's soul swaps from bird to human through some blood transfer thing i guess, not explained yet. also ml is getting info that the whole war started through collusion with some other royal heirs and nobles? ml and fl interacting as humans is cute. fl pretends to know nothing from when she fled the castle and got kidnapped to until she woke up. but she can't fool ml much cuz he remembers her first words were about a bird waking up. she wants to see her body so pretends she saw a bird in a dream. ml thinks she saw the bird attacking her when slipping in and our of consciousness and he wants to protect his bird, so doesn't let princess see it lol.

fucking amazing 15/10 story. character designs could be better, but the characters themselves are fantastic. kind of similar to beatrice. so girl is the princess of a kingdom, but was always treated poorly by the family cuz her mom was a servant. her kingdom is destroyed by a neighbouring kingdom and she is taken as a prisoner of war. she disguised herself as a maid and now works for the imperial family. she kind of sucks as a maid but one day she helps a dying prisoner and he asks what she wishes for. she says some random things and then says she just wants to have these abilities to make people happy. so that guy prays that she will get these abilities. starting next day she gets these dreams of people amazing in their fields. then she is able to copy their abilities somehow. so first she becomes a great maid. then she is a sculptor, a musician, chef, seamstress, and patissier. also later on she is said to have read a lot of books while secluded in the castle when young, so she's great at diplomatic matters. she helps out the crown prince with a lot of things and her newfound talents please him greatly. she slowly moves up the ranks and becomes the prince's personal maid. even though she wanted to get away from him in the beginning, now they are close and the prince has promised to grant her mercy if she does something wrong in the future. so she is not determined to help him to the best of her abilities. and doesn't think of escaping anymore since she wants to make herself so useful that the prince can't be without her. and ofc the prince is already feeling this. cuz during this process he's supposed to be looking for a fiancee. there are 2 bitchy girls who are competing, but ofc we know the fl will win in the end. but the problem is girl 2 has suggested to girl 1 that fl might be close with the prince. so now girl 1 is torturing fl by being rude and shit. girl 2 is really evil cuz she wants to destroy the empire if she gets to be empress. her family is connected with the western neighbouring country. anyway through all this the crown prince is actually looking for fl who was the princess. he said he wanted to take the princess as his empress because it would benefit him politically. little does he know she is also beneficial in other ways here lol. there's the western neighbour also interested in finding the princess, our fl, and they look poised to discover her true identity soon. also the knight commander guy is loyal only to the emperor, who is in a coma, and refuses to follow the crown prince even though they were childhood friends. so idk, some drama is brewing here as well but hopefully marie can reunite them. right now the knight is serving the little prince who is a legitimate son unlike our crown prince. marie is also close with the young prince after showing him magic and he wants to marry her lol. love the complexity of this story, like these strands that are woven the entire length of the story. but also there are short issues that are easily solved every few chapters!! great storytelling technique imo. brunette princess candidate is pretty much out cuz she was rude to fl and both ml and the duke reprimanded her. blond candidate still sees fl as problem cuz she noticed ml prince looks at fl in special way. she steals the holy grail of the kingdom for the enemy kingdom she's working with along with some other random goods. she puts the other goods in fl's room so fl is put in jail as suspect but ml and everyone believes in her innocence. she gets premonition type dream of a thief that gives her idea that the holy grain is hidden buried in the ground. ml comes to visit her in jail and she

SO GOOD, I FUCKING LOVE A GOOD GENDER BENDER OMG!! she was best kendo practitioner in korea and an orphan in past life. now she's reborn as baby here and she realizes it's the world of a novel she read. she knows her twin bro is a side character that eventually serves the first prince and then gets killed for attempting to assassinate the second prince. and ofc the whole family gets killed too. so she tries to raise him to be loving and never kill and stuff like this lol but then he is too loving and ends up running away to be with his gf the day before he has to enlist in the imperial army. ofc our fl takes his place and she tries to be bad with a sword to not stand out. but the first prince notices that she was just faking being bad and gets interested. he creates an incident that makes the fl use her real skills and he sees it. after that he kinda forces her to be his personal knight by promising to take good care of her sick father. meanwhile the second prince is also super interested in fl. right now nobody knows he's the second prince cuz he grew up an orphan with thieves and mercenaries. fl saved his life 10 yrs ago and he recognizes that she's a girl right away even though she's pretending to be her bro. anyway, first and second prince kinda fight cuz 2nd prince sees fl doesn't want to be 1st prince's knight and he feels protective of her. but in the end ofc fl agreed to the terms and is willingly a knight. at first she thinks a lot of random thoughts about what to do because she doesn't want their fight to get big and she dies or something. so she tries to be distant, but that fails so then maintain good relationships with both sides. actually as she gets to know 2nd prince more, she realizes he is kinda crazy like a sociopath. he was seen as the good guy in the novel, but he doesn't understand social norms cuz he grew up in a crazy place. he is willing to kill anyone who hurts the ppl he likes and he is like 2 different ppl with fl and others. he knows her secret and even said some bs to her bro about how he's useless and weak and needs to man up. i think he has some secret deal with the bro that we don't know yet but it might come back to haunt fl. so at first fl wanted 2nd prince to win, but now she sees 1st prince is not really a villain. he is actually warmer of a person than 2nd prince who is sociopathic but just kind to her. 1st prince only wants to survive in a world where everyone really hates him and he only has 1 loyal attendant and now our fl is his second friend. his father knows about 2nd prince thought not where he is right now, so emperor is kinda refusing to give up throne to 1st prince. the empress hates him cuz she wants her own son, 2nd prince, to be emperor and most of the nobles are on empress's side. fl starts warming up to 1st prince after seeing his situation is quite similar to her own where he just needs to do whatever he can to keep alive. cuz the moment he loses power as the crown prince, he'll die. just like she kept doing all of this to keep her family together and live. anyway, forgot to say but her bro came back with his sick gf and are living at home with their sick father now. recently bro of empress, a duke, challenged fl to a duel with his knight. she won ofc but somehow she and the prince also got punished? idk but they are being sent to this far place to check the gold discovered in that region. only they two are allowed to go and it's basically a plot to kill them off but ofc fl will protect our prince lol. it's kind of touching recently cuz the father got a moment of awareness and gave her his sword. the prince also gave her a super amazing sword made just for her cuz they want to keep the father's sword like a memento instead of using it. they are going to the town where 2nd prince grew up and 2nd prince said to her to go to this store if she needs help there but she is reluctant to receive his help now that she sees he is kinda psycho. season 1 ends here. 2nd prince approaches fl's twin bro and offers to teach swordsmanship to kill ppl. meanwhile fl and ml set off for dangerous land and anticipate evil tricks from duke. on the way they meet two adventurer ppl heading to same direction as them. the girl really likes fl so she offers to help teleport them to their destination. turns out they are mercenaries working under the duke that sent ml and fl on this death mission. ml accepts the offer.

THIS IS SOOOO GOOD. THE FUCKING BEST WTF OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! AMAZING STORY AND ART AND CHARACTERS SUPER LIKABLE TOO. I FUCKING DIED AT THE EMPEROR IN HIS ROBES REVEALING HIS CHEST WTF I AM SIMPING FOR HIM SO HARD so in this world god created 3 sons, fire, earth, and gold. they kept fighting so he created water to give them peace. the water's blood for fire, eyes for earth, and hands for gold. they took so much that they ripped water apart. fl grows up in the village of siyo (water). everyone else has grey hair but she has black hair. she's bullied and treated as an outcast all her life by everyone except her mom and the chief's kind son. recently the empire got a new emperor who took over after much bloodshed on the battlefield and in the imperial palace. he demands a concubine from each region of the empire. the siyo village sent one and she was killed. the emperor has some madness where he blacks out and needs to kill to relieve his pain and thirst. now he demands another concubine and the village is planning to send the fl cuz they hate her. they kept using her actually so idk why they treated her so poorly. they were all drinking her blood to increase their own powers. all the grey haired siyos can heal others, but fl has black hair and only heals herself automatically. every month she needs to let out blood or she feels crazy inside. after this she does not heal well for 3 days and the village ppl drink her blood ugh. her mom is blind and lost her powers in exchange for a prophecy for her daughter. fl keeps singing the prophecy as a song not knowing what it is. her mom actually wants her to be sent to the emperor, so she quietly lets herself be killed by the other villagers and she gives fl a lot of hints about what she must do. fl understands her mom's wishes and willingly goes to the emperor. along the way she gains favour with her escorts cuz she heals them with her blood. she realized from the prophecy song that she should give her blood. they treat her well and the lady in waiting assigned to her also treats her very well. she is set to serve the emperor on the second time he will go crazy. but the first night when he goes to meet the 1st concubine, fl is on her way to a lake her mom told her about. the emperor smells her and follows after. there he sucks her blood and she throws a sleeping powder at him and knocks him out with a rock too. she escapes back to her room and is out for 3 days like typical after a blood letting. after that emperor realizes he feels totally great and the pain and thirst are gone. so he looks for the woman he spent the night with. he finds it's fl and grows super fond of her. not just for the blood but also cuz her innocence and personality appeal to him greatly. fl at first was scared of him cuz he drank her blood and she had a bad dream involving him (actually a prophetic dream given by mom). but then she realizes it's all been a part of her mom's plan for her to meet him. so she happily meets him and wants to ask him to take revenge on her siyo village for her. she hates them so much cuz the leader men raped her mom to birth her and treated them like dogshit all those years despite using her blood to get more powerful. but she's kind of uneducated and in trying to tell the emperor about wanting his power, he misunderstands it as her saying she wants his body lmao. so they are now having their first night. this manhwa is kinda smutty, like definitely 15+, maybe 18+ soon lol. she tells him the consummation thing was a misunderstanding and he suspected as much. she says she wants to get more power through him to get revenge and he understands cuz he was kinda an outcast when young too cuz of his super red eyes that made ppl jealous of how much the sun god's power was in him. but still he says the consummation must continue, so they fuck lol... next morning, many nobles sent her gifts to get her favour. but she asks emperor to make an order for them to take them back cuz she doesn't want excessive gifts. she remembers her mom died the day she got extra food and now she is wary of accepting more than she needs. other nobles are also trying to present their favoured concubine to ml and ml finds it suspicious that the most influential/powerful concubine is not on this list even though she could have easily used her power to make her first. emperor suspects she is avoiding him so he orders a banquet to be held where he can meet all of them. in the meantime they are all lovely together spending the days with emperor teaching her to read/write. she gets some wrong so he punishes her by making her kiss him <3. day comes where he's supposed to sleep with another concubine. fl knows but pretends she doesn't to her maids. she is very upset at prospect of emperor treating another woman as he did her.

amazing in every way. a bloody masterpiece of a story. only issue might be manhwa had to cut too much detail so it's kind of hard to understand and keep up. read on batoto cuz early chapters here suck dick. pages out of order and incomprehensible sentences. peachyscans is shit. girl is reborn in this world and able to see spirits, just like in her last life in korea. both lives, seeing spirits is frowned upon by society. but with her power she can talk to them and they cannot refuse her commands if she knows their name. from a spirit she learns of plans to kill the 2nd prince. he and 1st prince had great relationship, but then 1st prince became ill. now some nobles around them want him to be crown prince instead but he still respects his bro. there's something suspicious about one of the spirits in the palace. lennon might be spirit of first prince or something?? idk but he was first to tell her about the commanding power and he acts dumb on purpose around other spirits. after she learns of the conspiracy to kill the prince, she offers him help. it's cuz she says his downfall will bring about her family's downfall and the downfall of the empire. and in order to protect her family, she decides to help him?? also they met once as children anyway she goes in disguised once he accepts the deal cuz she can't let him know she's the duke's daughter and can see spirits. first they prevent the poisoning by using the spirits to watch the wine. then they capture the guy who was sent to kill the maid who assisted them. she gets him on their side by helping his dead son's spirit pass on. but the guy gets killed by his comrade and comrade escapes. however they somehow get a jewel from the guy before he dies and he says it's a catalyst for the poison. the bad guys think the prince drank this slow acting poison. somehow the catalyst is supposed to set the poison off?? idk all very confusing tbh. now they are offering the catalyst, a jewel, to a lady who wants to work with 2nd prince to raise her power. and through that other nobles are searching for the jewel's origins and that will help them find who got this jewel and maybe lead them to the leader of the conspirators. and they suspect it might be like the emperor or someone super powerful like that cuz the slow acting poison used to poison the prince is super rare and hard to get. so that was the first conspiracy, poisoning. 3 total. the second one is about this cabinet that is said to contain medicine to cure any illness. but one of the spirits said he was obsessed with it during his life and found out it's not like that. in reality it exchanges a life for a life. so if the 2nd prince uses it to save the 1st prince, 2nd prince will die. they go to the spirit's secret treasure trove to find a blueprint about this cabinet. she figures out the cabinet has poison needles that pierce the person who operates the release for the medicine. the ml 2nd prince doesn't want her to risk it alone, so helps hold the mechanism down while she breaks the needles. then on the last needle she is too weak so he helps her break it and all is well. he seems to know something about her identity? cuz he calls her name and it's written in quote marks lol. also ml says this cabinet came to him through fl's territory, not knowing fl is the countess or whatever of that territory. fl is like what, someone smuggled it illegally through my territory cuz i never knew of its entry and existence. so whoever is trying to kill the ml is close to him and knows exactly how much he would want the cabinet even at the risk of his own life and he's powerful enough to smuggle the shit in. now they are at the crown prince's palace and fl's dad is there too. they give first prince the drink from the ivory. in a few days he is up and walking again. ml showing great interest in fl and gives her a necklace while she's sleeping. first prince really wants to be emperor and rule the country and sets the empire's foundation day on the day he rose again. also some weird conspiracy going on with a jewel that i do not understand at all, but this is the third conspiracy for the first prince's life. and it's kinda revealed that the person who is conspiring against the first prince is his closest aide cuz this guy was sending secret messages using birds. but there's also some flashback about the second prince as a child hearing someone cursing him and his family, something like that. but the translations have been soooo fucking bad since chap 30.

omgosh another one that's super amazing!! duke's daughter becomes orphan and taken under emperor's care. he trains her to be an assassin and lead a group of 4. after their mission to kill the enemy kingdom's 2nd prince, emperor abandons them to all die. she makes it back alive, but then he executes her. he did this to put all the evil blame on her and to get close with that nation with bad intentions cuz the 1st prince of that country was seen sitting with his nasty daughter. anyway, after this fl comes back to life to around 5 years ago. she is being sent to the enemy country as a peace offering supposedly but emperor wants her as a spy and to do other shit. now fl is determined to work with enemy nation to bring down emperor and erase whole country from map. the 1st prince, our ml, suspects she is more than she seems. he sets up a meeting between her and the leader of anti-emperor faction who is hiding in this country. fl confirms with him that her father was most likely killed by emperor and she is furious. even more determined to bring him down. so she goes to ml and reveals her identity and says she wants to work together. ml is sus at first but they do a rescue mission for the anti-emperor leader's grandson. after that ml is pretty trusting of fl and obviously has affection for her. they get closer through preparations for a ball and dancing together and then a festival following the ball. but soon ml has to go off to the north to fight some savage tribe ppl. ml is like think about me while i'm gone and tell me what your answer is. fl is totally clueless what he means lol. and then one of the guys working under fl as an assassin brings back her bro who emperor had left alone cuz thought dead or couldn't find. we see their touching reunion and now waiting season 2!
