My all-time favourite. First ever BL anime I've watched at 2000. It's in adventure-fantasy-action vein that I love so much. It's not common to have a good serialized story anymore. I missed the old days where there's plenty of BLs that is lengthy. Note: ANIME IS AMAZING. BEAUTIFUl ART

The queen of their all boy's school. Everyone worships him and is at his mercy everyday but he's not a bitch, kind of an innocent/natural queen. The gap of his pretty face and vulgar mouth is amusing. He's a funny combination of arrogance, cuteness, danger, beauty, craftiness and innocence so you cannot really hate him. Being the son of a doctor and the one that will inherit the big hospital, uke is always in danger of being kidnapped to the point he needed an able bodyguard like the servant he had now. They grew up together. Servant (seme) swore to serve uke for life. #uke had the habit of bullying those he like. #uke had problems sleeping at night because of trauma. ➤☆ 3.5 It's cute and funny. (my standard of rating is just low)

ch.1-3: a cute and touching family story centered around a brother and sister's lovelife, more about the brother and his gay relationship. very nice manga covering a gay boy's family life, which is rare in manga nowadays. BTW, i like the older sister. she's great. also covered childcare at chap.3. uke's nephew. ./ ch.4: page.1-32: school life, rape trauma. talented volley player refuse to join and the sempai who tries to make him. ./ ɫ ⬧ ɫ ⟫ Itaike na Bokura > Yakkai na Bokura > Furachi na Bokura. ch.5-6: page 35- end: romeoxjuliet school play. #crossdressing, #friends to lovers. lately, he's feeling embarrassed on their private time together. but it might not be surprising for the smaller guy after all?

Main couple: Spoiled sou at his finest. but despite him being all tsundere to his parents, it's clear that he loves them dearly. paired up with the kindest, considerate and most gentlemanly seme (for a teen) ever. / couple 2: the fathers. their backstory is at chap.3. (but they are all over the whole volume too.) serial playboy seme and the uke whose tired of him but loves the asshole anyway. one life-changing event will drop in seme's life that will make him change for good.

⟫ Itaike na Bokura > Yakkai na Bokura > Furachi na Bokura. ch.1-2 : family manga. i love it. it's so touching in the end. and i appreciate the relationship between sou and his gay parents. it was tackled in this chapters. main couple: student x student. cute uke x kind but can still get jealous seme. couple 2: dad x "mom"(male) uke's parents. protective dad. • minor couple: teacher x teacher. note: their full story is at "Hageshii Ame" / ch.3: #publisher of children's books company. editor at a publishing company x salesman. couple 3: officemates. editor x salaryman(sales). note: the editor works with hiroki, sou's "mom". / ɫ ⬧ ɫ ch.4: secret relationship, #marriage of convenience.

One of the perfect 90's masterpiece where fujoshis still have fun stretching their imagination to the bl subtext. This era is great for that. I particularly like this one. It''s a good classic read. It's got a lengthy fantasy-adventure plot that is long yet not strained that a few mangaka could do. **china > other world. **and there's an adorable panda pet and a big black bird... what more can you ask?

Main story: An epic yaoi showbiz masterpiece of it's time. A 90s Nitta-sensei work. One of the early BLs that spawned more than one full-length animation and that's already saying something with how relevant this manga is. *Ch. 20: sawa-san (minor couple)'s backstory. beautiful and bittersweet transgender story. -------------.//.------------- Fuyu no Semi *chapter 24-25: Also adapted into anime, this gorgeous manga is of high caliber. I'm floored how at first it's a simple supplement fictional movie for this manga's two mc but the quality of how it's done is outstanding. .//. *Ch. 5.2: **Unrelated oneshot. high jumper that quit from being discouraged. The very sempai he got intimidated on challenged him with a bet.

lol I don't know if I'm going to call the girls very open-minded or just pervs with the way they egg their boyfriends to sleep with each other. it's funny at the start but it became introspective, dark and deep along the middle ending in a bittersweet note. this is probably the most detailed and thoughtful friends-to-lovers story. it started from their college days until now that they had their own lives as adults and they are still so ambiguous and entangled with each other as ever.
