Clinging on a little hope that it can get picked up around 10 years like those other old mangas that recently DID get finished at last.

⟫ Fake > Ra-I. #bi seme x straight uke: uke took his loook time to figure out his feelings. good pace. it took... what? 2-4 years for the charming and handsome dee to get the straight uke around? hehe. #classic: This manga is ahead of it's time. Or is it the other way around? they don't make mangas like this anymore. Now, it's all about the smut and the sexy police trope. For new readers, the art style will take getting used to but once you delve in the story, you will understand why this is a classic. #plot-heavy: Instead of a trope-y and/or kinky police plot or just dropping a gay+police together for some sexy time, we have a manga with a well-developed and properly researched (though not super accurate but the very japanese mangaka tried) story about two policemen who ended up together and just happened to be men. I like how the story is pieced like that. In every arc, we get to see their lives and how the kids grow and as case after case were properly closed, we get to see how their feelings grew. Dee, the guy who has chased his partner for years is as pitiful as he is amusing. I like how he's always creative in his rants. He kept the whole manga into a lighthearted note and I appreciate that despite the dangers and deaths surrounding them, Fake still maintained it's comedic note all throughout. That's the biggest difference it had to the heavy drama New York, New york. #adoption: Ryo took in 10-yo bikky at the start of the story. #great female character: Diana served as a cast for one of a few arcs too bad I wish she's a mainstay. but she's cool, pretty and strong. i like her. #multiple couples, het and gay. NOTE: These special chapters features the grown-up kids version. @vol 3, chap 10 and vol4, chap 12: bikky @14 and 15 yo. respectively. Appearance of rai/lai and lass/rathe. later had their own book. @chap 12: bikky x carol couple finally, at carol's 18th bday. #older girl #3 yrs age gap. @vol. 5, chap. 6: Al x rei couple cameo. #detective, #ESP.

⟫ Fake > Ra-I. 〚 Rai's solo manga set around volume 3 or 4 of Fake. Rai starts at 13 yo here.〛 It's nice of the author to create this spin-off for rai and rathe despite being a non-BL couple. Actually, this is more of a gen manga featuring a few characters and their pair instead of a romantic one. They are cute and amusing especially that ESP part. This is an action-packed detective story with a "kidnap the rich kids" subplot. Kind of wished there was an episode where Bikky and Carol is present to but having all three Spencer siblings are fine on it's own I guess. Low-key wishes for the eldest bro to be gay LOL. #cameo of NYPD 27th's chief.

⟫ Ashita, Kare no Bed de >Nemurenai Koibito > Kusuriyubi ga Shitteru> Mou Kimi o Matanai > Chizuka-san Ni Tsutaete. {Dear 1st volume: I've patiently waited for yrs. YEARS! DONE!} Full of giggles & butterflies in the stomach. If stoic & possessive semes are your type you will love this. If u find seme an asshole your mistaken. Read behind the cut(+) A young salaryman is crushing over this handsome man hanging out by the Cafe's window corner everyday. Thing is, he looks and acts like a flirt so he was misunderstood all the time by his lovers and it impressed deeply within bringing him insecurity. Thus the pair had a lot of misunderstanding causing pain for both. And because of that insecurity, he was not able to see how his "sleeping beauty" actually believes in him and his worth more than he could ever think. Chizuka is way better than his other similar counterparts. For real. He says "I love you" and "I'm sorry" VERBALLY. I don't think anybody can match that, not even asami could openly apologize like him. Moreever, he ASSURES the insecure uke more often than not. Also I find it cute that he looses his cool for uke. BTW cute ending. ^_^ and you will see better things at the succeeding volumes.

it all started from hate. both also had an assumption that the one hated the other so they were in cold indifference with each other but wondering about that other person at the same time. things started between them because of a simple greeting.

(edit) UPDATED Synopsis: Continuing the everyday ups and downs of the unlikely relationship of a rich and capable noble with an ordinary japanese salesman. However, their still-new relationship gets tested once more with namihira's new and mysterious co-worker who seems to be put for revenge? In this volume, I like Chizuka a lot. He verbally says I love you, he trusts and assures the uke, shows that it's never about the money, he does everything for the takashi with his blunt and stoic demeanor. I mean... What more can you ask for a cool type seme? He's leagues better than his other counterparts (K-sensei anyone?) So grateful that this series is finally being worked on, almost lost hope.

Despite this series being like a sappy soap opera and such, I still love reading it because we see the couple doing their best to work out their relationship and THERE IS COMMUNICATION HAPPENING! Little boy is so innocent that he enthusiastically picked up what he's fully convinced of as a 'cat' and bought it home. only it's actually a human guy lol. Dad is going nuts bec the "cat" his son "picked up" as just blackmailed him yesterday after a one night stand. Worth the read even when it's cousin!incest bec. the uke is one manipulative wiseass. seme on the other hand is kind. #cousin!cest. #seme with a child x older uke dominant uke.
