What i think of their dynamic. This is based on this manhua alone, with the broken ass translation. I haven't read the novel. 1st story 1-52 story about a system (Shen Yi) trying to stop Fu gege blackened (probably becoming antagonist?). Shen Yi, despite being a system, he has personality of his own. towards Fu gege he is quirky, foxy-like personality, flirty, coquestish. Fu towards Shen, he is domineering (professional at grabbing Shen Yi arm at this point, idk how many time has he grab Shen arm), posessive, sugar daddy, spoiling Shen. From outsider perspective, Fu is hard to get along, cold and strict. Which is not wrong. He is like that too with Shen at first, but for some reason Shen quirkiness and flirtyness able to torn down Fu defense without much effort. Its honestly refreshing to see a personality swap like this. Its always the top who possesive and jealous, bottom who flirty and popular. This is the other way around. Moreover Fu gege do be acting like a top occasionally. I like this more tbh. 2nd story 53-94 (i don't remember their name bc too many name titles). Romance about majesty and regent. Majesty having unrequited love towards his regent. Regent is a system transferred into regent body which is very sickly. Majesty is possessive, get jealous easily, a bit tsundere, childish, caring towards regent. Regent is calming, strict to others. Towards his majesty, he is caring, (surprisingly) flirtatious (after they're together), a bit insecure. 3rd story 95 - chapters is ongoing, can't give my thoughts yet. This is a first time I read manhua with multiple stories in one manhua, so as soon as the 2nd story appeared in different era, that caught me off guard lmao I really enjoyed all of the story so far. Now we're going into the 3rd story. The art in this manhua is so beautiful.

c128 recap of last chapter: yoojin fear resistence is decreasing caused by officer song skill. Yoojin get cornered by Hyunjae bc he's acting weird. Hyunjae figure out all this time is Yoojin have a skill of fear resistance. Hyunjae saw the scar on Yoojin chest and taking advantage of the situation while Yoojin fear resistence wears off.

I'll just reread this again once theres at least 150+ chapters. too early to read now considering that the novel has 355 chapters.

c81 last chapter recap: pyo wol is on his way to take revenge for the death of one of his people Soohyung (a courtesan whom he spend time with). Jin (i dont remember from which clan) ask pyo wol for help to find one of his people who has been kidnapped by the mysterious enemy from Minor Thunder Temple(idk if the name is right).Pyo agree seeing as Jin is reasonable even after Pyo killed one of his people and one of his people also killed one of Pyo people (Soohyung). (fyi Jin is the first ever character that actually being reasonable and think with his head rather than attacking Pyo, all other fucker in this story is talk shit and cocky af and then died in the end)

this is shounen-ai. with borderline yaoi or just mild smut. the art and coloring is really pretty and consistent from beginning to end. the story is good, but too much on political stuff. but i take that plot any day rather than stupid drama (such as dragged on misunderstanding, break-up arc, stupid decision arc, mc irrational behavior than can caused me to hate him in the blink of an eye). though i would totally understand if ppl start getting bored with the story. most ppl pointed out that they don't understand a thing and confuse about the plot. I usually like 2nd couple in manhwa, more than main couple. BUT not on this one. bc the subject of the 2nd couple is the father and the friend. i do find them interesting but also reluctant bc of the father. remembering the things that he's done to Hyunwoo. I never get bored with the main couple in this one.

it's been awhile since I've read anything i like so much, such as this one. I'm aware of these manhua years ago, but haven't felt the urge to read it. i admit that i judge it based on the cover. there's nothing wrong with the cover art, but i judge its plot in my head based on the cover art. "will this be anither annoying misunderstanding plot? will the "top" forcing the "bottom"? is this gonna be tsundere type character shit? is this going to be love hate?" all that thought running in my mind before i even read it. I'd say all this caused by a long term experience reading too many manhwa and manhua, i found way too many "misunderstanding" plot, too many tsundere mc, too many one sided affection between the mcs, too many "top" treating the "bottom" like shit or just being mean, simply just too many DRAMA. so when i read this, I'm taken aback by how wholesome it is, how there's no drama that's annoying, how there's no misunderstanding (there is 1 misunderstanding, but it was quickly resolve in that same chapter too), how everything goes smoothly, how both of these mcs show equal affection (not just one sided, like most bl I've read). any BL that show equal amount of affection is a WIN in my book. i hate it when either the top or bottom making a move, the other one reject in a tsundere way. i know not all bl mcs can be as affectionate as the mcs in this manhua, but annoying tsundere mcs trope really overpowed the affectionate mcs, based on the fact that I'm surprised finding this type of manhua. reading this can really fix your mood if you're having a bad day. thats all I'm gonna say. i adore everything about this manhua. the characters, the art, the coloring, the plot, the pacing and the author.

well, adding this to my want to read list for now, bc I'm waiting for it to finish. though i actually already read up to chapter 16. but bc of my anxious traumatic ass afraid of wasting time spending on reading something heartbreaking (because you already know this manhwa art style really giving of that melancholic vibe), i took a peek at the end of season 2. so now I'm calming down and happy.

the art is really good. this is an adaptation from a novel, the artist did a good job in drawing this, the vibe and aesthetic is very romantic. this is my 2nd time re-reading this. i still remember the first time i read this and how much impact their first time in the piano room, raining and wet. idk why, the vibe is so sensual and romantic though i know the characters are both in conflicting feeling of wanting and running. SPOILER AHEAD . Well, its such a shame that he throw away the diary though, it would've been pretty romantic if he read his answer. But then again, the story might've been shorter if he did read it, assuming the outcome.

this is really interesting. I'm looking forward for an updates. The translation also really good, I understand everything. Usually most manhua webtoon that is not official translation is a bit confusing.
