For Minato, a corporate slave neglecting his health, the only thing that heals him is feeding the local tomcat, Nyako. As much as Minato would like to take Nyako home with him, even he’s aware of his irregular lifestyle and how unfair it would be to the cat to do so. During his routine night feeding for Nyako, Minato happens upon an unconscious man named Ritsu laying in a garbage dump. Without anywhere to go and unable to leave him alone, Minato suggests Ritsu stay with him on the pretense that he helps take care of Nyako during the day.
