Personally i know a few guys who read BL/Yaoi and they identify as straight except two who identify as bisexual.
I don't think reading yaoi or BL makes a guy gay. It's just a story. If we used the same thought process then any gay man or lesbian female wouldn't be gay if they watch a love story with a man and a woman.

If they are reading yaoi, i would think they are gay but I read somewhere that they can be straight even though, but i dont know. I hope this question doesnt sound bad
Hi, asexual here. Asexuality is about sexual attraction, it has nothing to do with whether or not you want to have sex. Some asexuals have no sex drive and no desire to have sex, some asexuals do have a sex drive and do have sex. well, i agree with you on the last part. having sex as an asexual and enjoying it kind of defeats the purpose of calling yourself an asexual, someone who doesn't like sex or doesn't get attracted sexually. 1 reply
I mean no offense by this question and am just generally curious about what you guys have to say. I have just seen a few people online claiming that they’re asexual because they aren’t attracted to people sexually but still enjoy sex and to me it seems like it defeats the purpose of being asexual. I get if you’re asexual and can still have sex, but so long as you get pleasure from sex doesn’t that mean you’re not asexual?
i guess that mostly has to do with the beauty standards in japan. i feel like the men there prefer that kind of body shape more which is why they always draw them like that. although, that’s not to say that isn’t off-putting since animes oversexualize female characters A LOT. and thats sad if u think abt it bc its def not an accurate representa...... reply
