As long as your preferences doesn’t translate to desensitization to actions are even inaction( like becoming a bystander) IRL, I think indulging in alt fictions that many instinctually view as wrong can be informative and even entertaining at times.

As a huge empath I legit CANNOT do the mind break tag. I enjoy psychological and horror mangas with a tad bit of gore, but mind break hurts my heart. Survival game mangas have become one of my favorites recently. 2 reply
I'm not a licensed psychologist so I don't know why people are attracted to things that borderline taboo. You don't see people pointing fingers at Game of Thrones fans for watching a show that has incest, murder, rape, etc. Actually, I spoke too soon. There are probably people out there who do.
