get adopted by extrovert. get dragged to outings. other extroverts adopt you, continue getting invited to outings. start copying their mannerisms because want to fit in and social anxiety. get job in retail to help social anxiety via exposure therapy. find out that it isn't that bad. somehow now thriving?? reply
idk i just started doing it because i realized it was normal and it turns out i'm actually pretty good at small talk so i keep doing it because it makes me feel like a capable human being LOL it makes me feel good asf knowing i can do it 1 reply
You see I have a bunch of cue cards in my head that I say in order to engage in small talk but once I say them all I'm screwed and this happens way more often than you think.
And that is why I stay at home on my day off

I don't. I used to have a extroverted personality but I 180'd and I got social anxiety then I was like Fuck this shit I'm out and now I just don't talk cause people are annoying except for those who stuck around. reply
