Humans are the actual parasite of the world?
We remove any impurities we find in our food and shoo away insects. We act as if everything belongs to us, treating other animals as invaders. Of course, humans do not fit the definition of parasites in a literal sense. But to some extent, they can be called an invasive species. Humans spread across the world rapidly, causing extinctions and habitat destruction, and still are doing so. They are the main drivers of climate change, and they exploit Earth's natural capital for their own gain...... reply
100% agree TT something I want to add is our introduction of species into native ecosystems. Our love for cats has caused mass disruptions to species who cannot outcompete cats for food, and our farming practices (I.e planting crops that are shallow rooted in areas with traditionally deep rooted plants) have caused soil erosion. In our attempts to ...... reply
