i got three piercings with a gun, both earlobes and one in the cartilage. the cartilage and my left earlobe wouldn't heal and got so infected i had to take them out. dont use a gun it's a waste of your money and time, i think a hollow needle would be best but it's painful reply
I got all my eight piercings on my ear with a gun. I got them at a cheap, unprofessional place when I was underage. Even though I did not have problems with them afterwards, I would always recommend getting your piercings professionally done with a needle.

I had my nose pierced with a needle, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend you getting any piercing, besides earlobe with a gun, really!
And doing it with a professional is way more secure, because they know where not to pierce, and the environment and tools are clean, etc.

Yes, I did. I got my helix piercing by having it done via gun. It was no pleasant experience.... Initially, I had absolutely no issues at all. Piercing it didn't hurt (but then again, my pain level is something...). For the first 6 weeks or so, it was pretty okay. But after that, I had so many infections, it was no joke. I have 8. 4 on each ear and kinda it's kinda funny since I am studying in a catholic school so I need to hide it from the teachers. Plus I got my ear pierced in our classroom hahaha I only used needle btw. reply
Please do yourself a big favor and visit a reputable piercer to get your piercing done with a needle. The gun can cause tissue damage, is less sanitary and hurts more than a needle. Good luck!
