Not at all! I have my nipple piercing and I really don't have a high pain threshold I mean the day I got it I was still able to sleep in my stomach and everything and it didn't hurt at all!

It depends on what u want to get pierced. I only have my ears pierced (3 cartilage and double pierced lobes) and it didn't really hurt at all for me, but you do need to keep up with after care and make sure not to sleep on it. If you're going to get a piercing i strongly recommend going to a professional (not Claire's or a stand in the mall), espec...... reply
I have one piercing on each nipple, a belly button piercing, tongue piercing, nose ring, a cooch piercing and three piercings on each ear. The one that hurt the most was obviously the cooch but I didn’t cry or scream, etc, etc. Just being something to squeeze or bite on. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ 1 reply
I have 9 in my ears + nose and belly button piercings. my tolerance towards pain is -999 (like, really), but it doesn't hurt at all! still, i guess it depends on the place and how skilled the piercer is, so you should choose a shop with good feedbacks. it's definitely worth it, i became more confident in my body since I have them. 3 reply
I have my lip pierced, on the side. Didn't really hurt at all, kinda feels like a cat's scratch and poof - you're done. I think piercings hurt more after the procedure than during. Ear cartilage hurts like shit; I couldn't sleep on my side for more than half a year after getting my conch piercing but I've barely felt it getting pierced. I also have...... reply
Piercings do hurt to an extent, but barely in MY experience. If anything, it’s a sharp pinch then a pressure.
I have two cartilage piercings on my right ear, both lobes pierced, my nose pierced, and I’ve had my labret pierced twice because the first time I accidentally ate the piercing.
I plan on getting a ton more whenever I can. I find the...... reply
It does hurt, but if you're just doing an ear lobe piercing it isn't bad. It's more like the pain of being pinched or getting a shot, and it doesn't last long. It varies depending on what you're getting pierced and your pain threshold. If you're wanting something other than a lobe piercing, I would suggest doing some research on what you want befor...... reply
I did my tongue and was told it would go into shock so I wouldn’t feel it during the first day. Which was true. The healing though, gosh. It was so swollen I could not eat a thing. If it wasn’t a shake I didn’t want it haha. But I’m ultimately glad I did it. It wasn’t painful but more on the irritating side. reply
Ahh, I have cartilage, industrial and a tongue piercing! The pain scale doesn't go higher than a four for them altogether. It's one quick click (I've used the gun) and you don't feel a lot of pain. the healing process is somewhat quick too although the tongue piercing healing point hurt really bad! (≧∀≦) but don't worry too much! I'll be here...... reply
I have both nostrils pierced and my septum! The longer I anticipated it, the more it hurt it seems. The first nostril and the septum piercings were probably around a 2/10 since I got them done without planning or thinking too much about it, but my other nostril was maybe a 4 since I was waiting to get it done. They were all pretty harmless though!!...... 2 reply
