I have both nostrils pierced and my septum! The longer I anticipated it, the more it hurt it seems. The first nostril and the septum piercings were probably around a 2/10 since I got them done without planning or thinking too much about it, but my other nostril was maybe a 4 since I was waiting to get it done. They were all pretty harmless though!!...... 2 reply
When I was stressed out in middle school, I wanted to distract myself so I pierced my ears using a safety pin. It hurt like hell. I also had to disinfect it but all I had was alcohol, bad choice huhuhu. I stopped after that one ear and didn't touch the other ear. The hole didn't close for some reason and my mom saw it so she asked if I wanted to ge...... reply
Well, it depends on how high your pain tolerance is. I got my first piercing when I was 8 and had a meltdown until I actually got pierced, if your talking lobes you won't feel much, just a small pinch. Same thing with my septum piercing and lip ring. I didn't feel anything but it's different for everyone. It depends where you're getting it pierced. reply
depends where u want em///
ear... nope. but i have a high pain tolerance so maybe thats why... but if ur getting ear cartilage pierced it will be a pain in the ass for the next few weeks coz every slight flick will hurt... lol
i love my piercings thu reply
(Saving this because I want piercings and want to know what to expect )
I was 2 days old when I got my ears pierced so I have no idea what the pain was but from what I've heard soft bits of your body are easy, cartilage hurts like fuck... also your clit is supposedly the worst thing out there..."worse than child birth" 1 reply
I have a second hole on my ear, it didn't hurt. Its just a sting. The further you move up your ear the more it will sting/hurt. It will be sore but you should be fine.
Like if you cut yourself with glass it hurts while its cutting but afterwards it's just a bit sore~
If your doing it on your nose or lip I don't really know. My cousin has a nose ...... 2 reply
I have my lip pierced (I personally got snakebites) and I don't really know my pain tolerance but I would say it didn't hurt too bad I mean obviously it hurt but way less than I was expecting and really the worst part for me was when the jewelry was place in the fresh piercing
And taking care of them is super easy as well, all you need is a medi...... 1 reply
Where are you going to get it? It depends on the location. If it's just normal ear piercings (the ear lobe) it shouldn't hurt much. It'll feel like a tight pinch through the skin.
It'll depend on how skilled the person giving you the piercing is.
However.. if you get it on places like your ear cartilage it'll hurt a bit more.
If your brave and all...... 1 reply
It's mostly been said already but it really does depend on the place, type (i.e surface piercings are less likely to last, from my experience anyway), who does it and of course pain tolerance. I have a very high pain tolerance so can't be too much help there, I got multiple done at once (like 4 at a time lol). Currently have 26 piercings and my hig...... 1 reply
I got my ears pierced when I was a toddler (it's a cultural thing) but then I got my septum pierced when I was 18. Honestly, it really hurt and I don't plan on getting anymore piercings. At the same time, though, I really really love my septum piercing. I guage it up (make the hole bigger so the jewelry is thicker) and there are some pretty badass ...... reply
