My longest friendships have been longing for 7 years.
I moved out and I see them only during holidays.
But this is only with my group of friends of high school I am this close because I cut off ties with toxic persons and don't bother with unmatching people.

My longest one is 4 years, I miss her. We fought. And didnt speak to eachother ever again. We text eachother time to time but, its normally just an awkward "happy birthday" or "merry christmas" to eachother and that's about it reply
It's okay. Don't feel sad. As time moves on, people often grow farther. It happens. Sometimes they get really busy in life, and sometimes we get tired of them and find new people as we go to new places. As they say, out of sight, out of mind. People change. Feelings change.
