Omg one of my medications do this. Basically try to sit up straight as much as you can( goal is to not lie down makinh it easier for the stomach acid to go up to your throat) . Sip on something cold. Cold milk helps me a lot. Taking small bites of bread also helps. Take some tums or anything that helps with heart burn or acid reflux would. And judt...... reply

Have you taken this medication before? While it could be that the pill got lodged in your throat but maybe check the allergy reactions for this particular medicine. Omg I had this exact thing one night after swallowing a pill that didn’t go down properly and the only thing that helped was stuff that’s used for acid reflux, I took gaviscon and it helped allot, but if u don’t have any acid reflux stuff then maybe look up at home ways to help acid reflux. I get that sometimes, it's a phantom pain because the pill scratched something inside... U might just wait and drink hot beverage but waiting is the only solution reply
