I need some help to get over a break up with a guy I've been dating for a while who just dumped me. I truly believe he was the one who was gonna stay with me but he proven me wrong and dumped me before our 10 month anniversary.

We broke up, y'all... It didn't work, after 2 years together.
He needed more of my time, said he felt alone and abandoned. I did what was possible for me, and I'm not in a place to compromise things for him, even if he's the one I still love. I am building my future, catching every opportunity in my way, trying to finish college and doing an internship.
But yeah, I was aways exhausted, and our relationship being long distance didn't help.
He also said I lack emotion intelligence.
He was my first boyfriend, my first time, my first love, and most important, my best friend.
Im gonna miss our time together on phone calls every evening. But for now I gotta work on my future and myself.
