I can't speak for trans people but I can give my honest opinion. I don't think having a genital preference makes you transphobic since most people do have a preference. The problem is when you discriminated based on that. If you make a trans person feel like they aren't "real" men or woman bc of their genitals then you are being transphobic.   reply

i dont think genital preference is transphobic since transpeople also have genital preferences themselves, but if someone shames a person for not having the genital they prefer, thats just being an asshole   1 reply

i think we should leave this for the trans community to decide, but here's what i think: i sort of understand genital preferences to an extent, but if it's to the point where you aren't accepting, for example, a woman with a penis as a "real woman," that's when you know you're being transphobic....   1 reply
