we had our research defense that day and our whole class thought it was gonna get cancelled bcs the teacher was rly upset w us the day before and we thought we'd just be given failing marks (wc was fine w us lol since everyone's getting them; fair) but our prof changed his mind and decided to go w the scheduled defense.
