Do you listen to music while reading? What's your favorite genre to listen to while reading if so? Least favorite overall genre?

Ever since Jazz for Two (a cute BL) I've been hooked on smooth jazz for slice of life reads and other romantic stuff. I don't really listen to other genre's while reading but my least favorite overall would probably be metal with lots of unintelligible screaming~

I have a bro and a cousin, both guys lol. And they read manga and watch anime like i do but our tastes are SOOOO different.. i’m more of an action, fantasy, or sports reader (death games, sports or arts related, no romance sht). When i asked them what genre they read they replied with: romance, rom-com. “What else?”-me. “Nothing else, really.”

I try to read what they read but... shoujo mangas with naive or tsundere female leads.. i can’t.

Our tastes don’t align lol. I told my friend about it and she said maybe that’s why they’re so successful with their lovelife and im like...nO
