Buttons have freaked me out since before I can remember. I can deal for short periods if they’re loose or on some one else but if I attempt to wear something with buttons I break down in sobs and hyperventilate. 1 reply
First off, I was absolutely TERRIFIED of balloons before. Not sure why, though. Every time I saw one, my hands would automatically come to my ears. Plus, I'd be running away so fast that I had almost bumped into anything/anyone that got in my way. When I saw people playing with balloons, I got so shaky. I've got a social phobia that i'm struggling with, it's getting worse every year and it doesn't seem to get better.
There's also my carcinophobia (cancer phobia), along with my hypochondria.
Oh and i also have agoraphobia which is the fear of open places, and scopophobia (fear of being watched) but i guess these are related to my social phobia.

Bugs. Well I guess bugs isn't rare, as most people are scared of them. There are even certain instances that some large ones look fascinating to me. I always say that if they look like pokemon, I won't be scared to at least look at them, but I'll still stay far away. For some reason, it's the smaller ones that really freak me out. Please don't SELF DIAGNOSE yourself and call your PET PEEVE, a 'PHOBIA'. PHOBIA is more extreme than FEAR or annoyance or anxiousness... and I think that's belittling the REAL people who have REAL phobias who are struggling everyday.
