When reading webtoons, I like when the artist puts effort into the background, it makes it feel real. When they draw out the environment it makes the characters seem less dull and more alive. reply

Honestly I love really simple coloring. Flat colors with some basic gradients or overlays? It’s so pleasing to the eyes.
Also I love when the artist can make the poses and movement really fluid. Drawing anatomy *consistently* well is already hard enough, but then making character’s move without them looking stiff? I think a lot of the stiffne...... reply
I love it when artists define the nose and don’t just use a simple dash. A lot of webtoon artists always define the nose too simply. Another thing, I guess it isn't an art style thing, but I dislike when too many 3D models have been used, I like when people draw out their layouts, it makes their webtoon look more unique. So, I've been scripting my first webtoon idea, and I started storyboarding a little too. Buuuut-- I was wondering what kind of style I would use. Like, different authors have different styles, in both art and layout. I'd say wolf in the house was the most unique one,as well as dead or alive. What is your preference or what you like when it comes to style or layout? Anything specific or unique.. or even the artstyle, example the coloring or lineart.
yea i mean as long as you hide it right lol like i'd read it in the car on road trips and (omg im blacking out im listening to focus music but its just putting me to sleep) and hide it pretty well even if im sitting next to one of them i just turn the other way reply
